Do you really want to pay $8-9M per year (Carl Nicks got over $9M per year last season) for Levitre?

I like Incognito..he made it to the pro-bowl for a reason.

Dirty? great! Penalized? I will accept a few penalties in exchange for a guy who keeps going downfield looking for opponents to hit.

Levitrie hasn't dominated..he is durable. He will get paid by virtue of the weak market for starting Guards...but he is 'good'...not great.

IMO, Incognito and Jerry are the starters, sign a veteran to back-up, draft a rookie to push.

Nicks was a more well known commodity and the Bucs overpaid just as they did for Vincent Jackson. Nicks was coming off a pro bowl season as was widely known as one of, if not the best G in the league.

I would not pay Levitre that much. I predict he will get around 7 mil. Just my opinion.

If Jerry is still starting at G, something has gone wrong. This offense demands guards who can block on the run, and get out to block on screens. This is needed to be able to implement the offense the way they want to. You can't run stretch plays or screen passes without athletic guards. Jerry doesn't fit this scheme at all. He's pretty good in pass protection, though, and he could be part of competition at RT. But, I don't think there's any chance he's starting at G come September.

Would love to snag Barrett Jones in the second, really versatile lineman

True. I am not overly optimistic he will be anything more than an average tackle. We'll see what kind of shape he reports in camp. I think he offers more value in a trade for a team that runs a man blocking scheme. Probably a low pick but might as well get something in a contract year.
