You do one good deed and then you are back to your trolling nonsense.
I can't speak for Omar Kelly, but I'm hardly "pissed" that Tannehill looks good. I will say that it doesn't really matter how good Tannehill looks passing the ball against a third string defense - or any defense - this year. Tannehill isn't going to see much playing time this year anyway.
This year, the only thing that matters is that Tannehill doesn't drop the clipboard.

That would leave us a QB in the twilight of career, coming off an injury and two rookies to back him up. That is a risky QB line-up, considering our O-line mess.
If the team is truly rebuilding (and I think it is) then I could see them making the trade. Moore will not be the starting QB, and I think right now he's at his maximum trade value.

I agree. But I've been saying that makes sense since we signed Garrard.
Moore is in the last year of his deal. he was brought in at a pay rate above back up money and below starter money because he was Henne insurance.
I can't see him taking a pay cut after this season to back up tannehill next year.
That means he gone after this season. We clearly aren't ready to compete for a title this year so trading a guy who won't be here next year for a pick or two we can possibly turn into players that will be here to help for the next few years makes perfect sense.
Now getting back to Lauren man is she hot. Even if he plays lights out I don't think we can win it all this year. But it will be a good building block for the future of this franchise.

From what I hear he is a damn fine Prospect. I bet we could get a 3rd for Moore. He played very well at the end of last season.
he's in the last year of his contract and his career has been spotty at best. sorry but i really doubt the going rate for someone like that is more than a 5th. maybe a 4th. comparable to what we gave up to get for tyler thigpen a few years back. maybe less because thigpen actually played better than moore the year before we acquired him

I doubt if we could get anything for Moore other than a 6th rounder. He has been too inconsistent throughout his career.
It's almost as if guys with less experience and less chances to show the inconsistencies have better value in other teams eyes. ala Matt Flynn, Matt Shaub etc.
That being said it would be dumb to go into the season with a QB who hasn't played in over a year and coming off back injuries as our starter. We need Moore for the insurance.
If you believe what many media guys/former players are saying....Tannehill will be playing by mid-season after our season is lost....take it for what it's worth....speculation.

It all depends on the market.
If he plays well, and somebody loses a starting QB or doesn't like what they have in camp in 3 or 4 weeks then his price could go up.
I think the most you get for him would be a third. But if somebody offered me a a 4th or a pair of late round picks I'd take it. The more picks you have the more flexibility you have on draft day to move up for a guy like Miller who drops.
If he's not playing for us and he's gone after this season...any pick(s) you can get are worth while.
Please lets worry abpout the trades or whatever after the competition serves up a winner.
I love that Tannehill is sharp enough to improve prior to camp starting and read that he got some of the receivers to work with him on timing prior to returninhg.
My only 2 cents is I hope Tannehill is a bad ass and Philbin is the second coming of Don Shula. If at least one of those things come true we will be looking pretty good.
We should all be thankfull that he is going into a situation where he is not counted on to be the savior right away. RG3, Luck and Weeden have their work cut out for them.
It may be only one practise but it is still nice to hear he was able to come in and not miss a beat.
Wouldn't it be nice for him to come in and out play a couple of vets?
why have that expectation. Do I think Tannehill is going to come in a nlead us to the playoffs based on his college performance, no. Just unrealistic. I think our best chance are Gerrard and Moore. If we see Tannehill under center I believe is a bad sign.
Why shoot him down? I understand that some don't want to get hurt like getting dumped by a former girlfriend. It's ok to hide your feelings. We all know your in love but don't want to admit it. lol
At this point in his career we are getting the best possible news on him. He cam to camp ready to play. He missed a couple of days of camp but he was working out at the same place Cam Newton did last year. That's not a bad thing.
OK...most of us weren't there and only know what we read but there were some other people watching him that know a little something about what it takes to play QB in the NFL.
"Whoa,'' former NFL quarterback and current media member Rich Gannon said after Monday's practice. "What's he had, 19 college starts?"
"There was a play where I thought he was throwing short to the right and he went all the way across the field deep to the left,'' offensive coordinator Mike Sherman said after Sunday's practice. "Happened a couple of times.
"These were 'target' throws, too – too short it's intercepted, too deep it's incomplete. He put it right on the money."
Yes Sherman has a dog in the fight but Gannon doesn't.
Like any rookie QB, he is gonna have bad days too. He is going to have to get used to the speed once the pads are on or once we get into a game. He is going to make some mistakes.
If some of us are encouraged by the glowing reports then so be it. It's not a personal attack on anyone when we get a little excited about the best prospect we've had since 1999. Even if it is getting closer to looking like the people that said he was not worthy of a first round pick...were wrong. Not quite there yet...but closer.
"You see why he's a first-round pick,'' Gannon said
at this point, I don't see how any dolphin fan can be looking for the negatives in RT and gloat if he does badly. he's now the QB of the present of future of this team and if you root for the team you want him to be great. hell I even cheered for AJ Feely and Daunte Culpepper

don't think anyone wants Tannehill to fail. My view is that we have a pretty good squad this year and need a veteran qb to lead it. I like what I hear of Tannehills performance in camp but 4 days of camp really does not mean much. How does he peform in a real game. I think some folks are taking a practical view. I pretty much agree w/ Omar Kelley so far.
