There was a whole conversation about this earlier in the thread.

One poster said someone was trying to get me "banished" (whatever that means) and the other said "I know its the Truth behind it".

That certainly seems like more than speculation. It seems that at least two people had knowledge that another poster was trying to get me "banished".

Whatever. I haven't done more than express my opinion with integrity and try to defend myself against name calling and harassment. I think that is a respectable position. If the owner of this site really wants to "banish" someone for having integrity and self respect, then I don't want to be here anyway. But that doesn't seem to be the case...

When chicken little says the sky is falling enough times ... people will learn to blow them off as just being a negative type. Or conversely as full of the coolaid to those with undue optimism.

In the long run all have a right to their opinion.

I do tire of hearing about nothing but the negatives from some, but defend their right to thier opinion.

In the same manner I'll feel free to point out / discuss on this board when I see what looks like player progress ... be it from the rookie or any other player. That by the way was what this thread started to be.

So too is the case whether the player got brought in by the evil empire GM or has been here forever.

When predjudice against Ireland begins to taint what appears to be objective evaluation of a players talent or lack there of it comes off as not credible I think. IMHO.

lol - I don't think so, but if I was interested in doing so I could dig up the negatives you have said about both, Tannehill, and Ireland.

But I don't care about it enough ... suffice to say that it is opkay to be able to see and say somthing nice about Tannehill having a good day in pracice is encouaging. EOS

I hope they both - Tannehill and Ireland become dolphin heros ... it would mean the team is moving forward, and I'd like to see that happen.

I beilieve that they both have made some progress and contributions and that the best is yet to come. Hope I'm right.

What I find funny, is there was a ton of negative talk about Henne, SParano, Crowder, Marshall, over the years... ANd I dont remember such an uproar... I dont think it is the negativity, I think it is dont say something negative about a player or GM I like... And then use the term I dont like all the negative talk to hide behind what I am really saying... dont question my guy....

I see what DolfanKing is talking about. I think the confusion surrounds the suspicions that THE Truth first expressed about whether DolfanKing was, in reality, a previously banned poster. Treasure, I think, only took that suspicion out to its logical conclusion and arrived at the conclusion that if it could be proved that DolfanKing WAS a prior poster then, like Mia1, who came back in many different guises, he could be banned. I think Treasure was saying that TT was aiming to banish DolfanKing.

THE Truth never said he was looking to ban DolfanKing but certainly kept lighting the fires that DolfanKing was, in fact, a previous poster who had been banned. I told THE Truth that for the life of me, I couldn't figure out who he thought DolfanKing was but THE Truth just laughed at me like I should be able to guess.

Look, I've got nothing against anyone here. I think the whole thing is fairly funny - people saying people are trying to get me "banished" and others claiming I'm someone else with a secret agenda, and then those that get pissed because I write that Tannehill was a reach and the people that don't get that I'm not going to cheer for players that have done nothing...

But after a while the whole thing gets old, and I really don't care that much. Your explanation seems to be about as good as anyone's.

But there are still some people here that act like middle school girls.

That's a lie. It fits your narrative, but its absurd.

Go read the posts the last few days again. First of all, I wasn't around to post that much and secondly, I've kept my word that I wouldn't continue to rehash who I think he is because it can't be proven conclusively one way or the other.

DolphinKing is the one that "kept lighting the fires" on that issue. I moved on a long time ago.



TCPF jumped to the conclusion he did because...well...he's TCPF.

BTW i never read a post from the truth saying dolfanking should be banished. Maybe something the truth said was misinterpreted.

Like I said, I don't care if you are trying to get me "banished". I think its funny... It seems a lot of people on this board agree with my take that Tannehill was a reach and the organization FO kinda sucks.

But that certainly seems to rub a few the wrong way. To the point where you accuse me of "starting fires" by simply expressing my opinion, and then try to get me "banished" because my perspective doesn't agree with the through police.

I think a Dolphin Fan should feel strongly about their team's poor performance over the last few years and ask strong questions of the team's management and FO. Its not like the decisions they've made are leading to winning seasons.

Aside from hiring Philbin and letting Gerrard land in their lap, most of what was done this offseason seems more like marking to mollify the hoards of angry fans.

You may feel the FO deserves a pass and just cheer them on, but I'm a fan that wants to win. I don't necessarily see that we are going in the right direction.

Sorry, I don't fit in your mould for what a "fan" should be. However, I think you should get out more and realize that not all Dolphins fans think like you.
