I agree Treasure, that logo looks horrible...No tail? The Dolphin no longers wears a football helmet, and aqua becomes a secondary color to dark blue... WTF? This logo represents everything that is wrong with Mr Ross and his leadership's misguided insight, and values into what is best for the organization... Along with throwing all the tradition out the window? Can you tell me one change Mr Ross's has made during his tenure, that is positive? Orange Carpet, Celebrity Owners, Club Liv in the end zone club seats, cheesy fight song, which is about sharks, but somehow he doesnt realize... Fins up? another shark term...I can go on, but I wont, you have all heard it before... But seriously this logo sucks...smh

Is that the official change or was it just pulled from somewhere?
That is not a good logo for the helmet; it is basically going the way of this "modern era" football, which I can't stand. Every uniform from the 60s should be brought back and the newer ones used as nostalgia.
The Chargers had the best uni (powder blue) so bring that back (not that other shade of powder blue that they use). The fins? The Super Bowl years should tell Ross something.
Mike Dee is on live with Jesse Agler and OJ, Dee said that changing the logo has not been made a final decision. He says they are in the 7th inning of the process, of examing whether or not to change it and then finally of what to change it to... He says they hope to have a decision by September and they have to make it by November per the NFL... Dee says they are still early enough in the process to make changes and nothing is done...
I have a feeling that despite his ambiguity on the matter, that they are gonna makes some type of change, but they also dont want to piss off fans, you could hear it in Dee's voice. He used the word subtle to describe the changes if any... Lets see what happens... But the above Logo, I dont believe will be used based from how Dee sounded... Dee also said keeping Tradition in the logo is very important. I dont know why, but I will give them the benefit of the doubt until i actual see the new logo. Dee's said he wants to hear from fans on which of the 2 main logos they like better that the Dophins have used in the past to present.

I'd like them to change the dolphin so it's jumping through the hoop of the sun.
Then, MAYBE...a color change for the dolphin from aqua to grey. I might even be open to the dolphin losing the helmet...but I'd have to see those changes before I'd ever sign off on them.
Then I MIGHT be open to a color change for the helmet from white to aqua, with white and orange stripes...but again, I'd have to see it first.
Really though, what I'd like above all else is a return to the all white uniform...that, and another Lombardi Trophy.
I could also go for a monochromatic logo (all black logo on a white helmet) with aqua and orange stripes for use in a few selected games each season.
I don't know about the OTHER STUFF YOU MENTIONED, TT, but if you have not ALREADY sworn a blood oath against Ross, then you are TRULY out of step with the rest of us.
With all the bad PR Ross has gotten since buying the team this would be a terrible idea. I have thought about this and can never come to terms with changing it.

Its already been changed once by Huizenga in the Mid 1990's.
All this posturing and foot stomping over what the team has called "subtle changes"...changes which haven't even been finalized yet seems a bit much.

No, no, no... you got it all wrong (as usual). I agree with everything Ross does because we are both Billionaires. Geography has nothing to do with it...

lol... I knew you were really Woody Johnson all along, and that secretly you have a love affair for the Dolphins... What threw me off for so long, was I just never figured Woody really rode the subway....

Did I miss something?
Isn't this your first post in this thread?
Senior moment? Wrong thread?? Or did one of the posters I have blocked drag you into this?

I didn't delete anything in this thread (unless I'm the one with the senior moment, but I really don't think so)
