If you wait until its finalized it's too late. At the first hint of changing it is when we needed to act. This may be a move to try to attract the Latin fans like the Marlins. What a crappy logo change that is. If the logo changes then I'm out as a fins fan. With everything the organization has done or not done and the bad decisions it's clear the owner and GM are lost.

How would a logo change attract Latin fans though....change the spelling of the team to Los Delfines de Miami?

The heat sell jersey's that say El Heat on them. I understand what he is saying about the marlins logo, the color change is more vibrant Latin or carribean colors scheme then the old aqua and black.

Throwback jerseys have become a huge trend in the NFL. Maybe I'm missing something but I can't think of a time when the Dolphins have worn them. I think the 70's style uniforms would be a great look.

Does anyone know the reason for this?

I wouldn't mind different tones of our existing colors...but there's gotta be some form of aqua & orange in there or else it's a dumb idea IMO.

Just change the way the team is playing (for the better) and we won't have to worry about logos and colors or the other crap.

From what I understand, The throwback jersey is considered an alternative Jersey, the Dolphins have worn the orange jersey as the alternative jersey rather then a throwback...

Yep, no doubt about it. Those are the best uni's and the best logo.

Someone has too much time on their hands

Has anybody noticed that USAirways is painting some of their planes in NFL team colors? I recently saw one painted in Philly green with the eagle on the rudder. They also have one painted in panther colors. My first impression of the new logos was that it would be perfect for a fusilage.

I'd be happy to clarify anything I have posted. What are we talking about?

Gentlemen, I apologise. After looking at the previous posts in this thread, I'm not sure what I was so het up about. Obviously, something annoyed me in the moment, but since I didn't put much in the post to help me identify what that might have been, I'm at a loss. Finally- I figured out this post . It was in response to ChyrenB's reply to an earlier post in which he said "if you have not ALREADY sworn a blood oath against Ross, then you are TRULY out of step with the rest of us." I objected to that, I don't hate Ross, I think he's trying to learn the place of NFL owner, something he has no idea of. He's trying, and he wants to win. I'd take him over a clown like Jerry Jones any day.

Personally, I think Ross is worse than Jerry Jones. At least Jerry Jones knows the value of a competitive franchise. He an egotistical clown that fires good people and hires yes men, but at least he wants to win.

I think with Ross we get a guy who will just surround himself with yes men, and yet doesn't care much about being competitive as long as he makes money.

That stadium in Dallas is crazy. I give Jerry props for that.

Actually Rick, I was making a comment on how most people on this board feel about Ross more than making a comment about Ross himself.

Although I feel that way along with the rest of the board.

But I now see that you were saying that you don't feel that way and, as you originally posted, this is a rare occasion in which you agree with the poster named THE Truth.

Some here are saying Ross doesn't want to win; he only wants to make money.

Unless I am mistaken, they go hand-in-hand. If the product on the field doesn't win, the owner doesn't make money.

Ross is trying. He is new to this type of game, and he is making mistakes along the way in trying to get things right. He tried to get the best coach that was available (Harbaugh and Fisher); he tried to get the top free agent available (Manning); he signed on to NOT get Flynn and went with Ireland's gut on Tanneyhill.
