I just read that the Raiders fired McDaniels. I imagine we'll be seeing him on the sidelines with the Past again.

The defense held up very well today. Ramsey's presence felt. The team is now 6-2 (fantastic) and now must look forward to the big European game in Munich next Sunday morning Not to be nitpicking Colonel but the game is in Frankfurt, the place where Hooligan was born. After watching the Chiefs get beat by Denver I'm hoping that Xavien is back playing then. Mahomes gets rattled with pressure an

Well, if we happen to meet the Giants and the Panthers in the play-offs we have a real chance of making some noise. The razzle dazzle bs doesn't seem to work against the good teams.

Agreed. Fangio is getting paid a lot of money, it's about time that he started showing that he's worth it. If the Jest can beat them and we can't then we still have hurdles within our own division. We're not going to see the Giants or the Panthers in the SB so, if we can't beat any teams with a winning record then maybe we don't belong yet. We have two tough games before the bye, if we can't win

Great news. I imagine it will take a few weeks to get him up to speed. It would certainly allow for more pressure to be put on opposing QBs. Can't wait.

In defense of Fangio, He DID make some effective adjustments because after those 14 points their offense was shut down for the rest of the game. They went from moving the ball down the field "at will" to absolutely nothing. 35 unanswered points. Whatever it was, we can't spot the Iggles 14 points and expect the same come-back results.

Browns beat San Fran so, storybook match-up next Sunday night in Philly where the New Dolphins can serve up champagne to the Old Dolphins by knocking the Eagles out of the undefeated ranks. Go Phins.

It's a feel good story. Unfortunately there's a lot of talent in the later rounds that never gets a chance to show what they got except in practice and even then they don't get as many reps as the featured QB. Purdy might never have gotten a chance if we didn't knock Garapola out of the game last year. Then Purdy comes in and beats us silly, quite some "Thank-you".

De'Von Achane is expected to miss several weeks due to his knee injury and is a candidate for Injured Reserve. That's the concerns of being an undersized RB in the NFL. On the bright side, having Achane, Ramsey and Phillips all returning in December or so would be the equivalent of the Cavalry charging in for the December push leading up to the play-offs.

Giants - 1-4 NE - 1-4 Broncos- 1-4 Chargers- 2-2 That's the teams we beat. We certainly have the talent but, unless we clean up the play-calling and the mistakes we won't go far in the play-offs.

The blame should fall on McD, he was supposed to be a running game guru when he was hired. I feel like he's being a little irresponsible on some of his play calling like especially the 3rd and inches and he calls a passing play which fails. Stupid. That kind of sloppy play WILL NOT work against good teams.

Dolphins are playing sloppy. Maybe looking past the Giants and banking on a win. Play calling is suspect. 18 passes to 8 runs in the 1st half, why when you have Achane and Mostert? They better tighten up in the 2nd half.

That was back in the day when the Bud Light commercials were really really good. There was one where Butkus and Bubba Smith were going to a fancy restaurant and trying to act sophisticated; "What are you going to order Bubba"? "I think I'll have the Soup du Jour". "Yeah, it MUST be really good, they serve it every day". And then there was the Superbowl halftime

The Belles are a better all-round team. Better coached, more disciplined. Somebody else on another Dolphin forum remarked that when the Belles scored, there was NO celebration, NO conga line in the endzone. Their coach won't tolerate the silliness. My big issue with McD is that he seems to be more wrapped up in being one of the boys rather than being an effective HC. Once the game started slipp

A kick in the teeth was what this team needed. Maybe now the coaches will get back to the fundamentals like tackling. I don't know if McD is still calling the plays but, maybe he shouldn't be. That series just before the half still has me scratching my head. It looked like about a foot for the first down and Tua is taking the snap in the shotgun? What happened to our running backs, QB sneak, why

Tackling is pathetic. I've seen this movie before. Play calling is awful, with inches to go for 1st down why is Tua taking the snap in the shotgun? I think McD has been deluded by some of the hype. Miami is being exposed. I know it's still early in the season but, it sure feels like we're playing for the wildcard again.

At the end of the day all we've done so far this season is beat three teams with losing records, none of which made the play-offs last season. Until we beat the teams that are considered SB favorites we're still in the same rut and playing for a wildcard berth. The real test starts this weekend against the first serious challenge of this season. We're in a "win now" mode and we NEED to

The Dolphins are the first team in NFL history to record five passing touchdowns and five rushing touchdowns in the same game, and the second team in history to record more than 700 yards of offense since the Rams did so in 1951. They are also the first team in history to score 70 points with 700 yards of offense, and the second to record 300 rushing yards and 300 passing yards, according to ESPN

Armstead is much too "part time" to be considered one of our best players, waste of money. The o-line seems to be doing pretty good without him. Phillips needs to be playing.
