Can you believe it? Chad Henne with two (2) Superbowl rings. There's amazing stat #1. The Jets are looking to lure him out of retirement, presumably to fill their back-up vacancy. Also available is Matt Moore. I never thought Henne would be this much in demand yet, here we are.

First game of the season is when you can usually sneak one past a superior team, as the Lions found out last night. The Chargers are not necessarily a superior team but, the Dolphins didn't look particularly ready for the regular season from what I saw in the preseason. If anything, Miami looked soft. All of the injuries in the Jaguars game was Miami players on the ground. I agree with TreasureCo

I'm not liking the effort from the D. Jax is getting 1st downs like they're free. This team doesn't look like they're ready for the regular season, certainly not with the first two games on the road.

They all looked flat footed and listless. It was the first pre-season game for Atlanta too but they looked sharper. Their QB Woodside was the best QB on the field. Achane had some nice runs against third stringers and had a nice kick-off return to start the game. Hopefully the starters show more next week.

Looks like he likely won't be back until December at the earliest. Won't know for sure until surgery, which is today.

Where did you get that list Treasure? Kader Kohou? He's already on the team. Was that last year's list? I know we signed one QB, James Blackmon from Arkansas St.

Quote: Also agree....where the hell is the urgency for upgrading the OL? Sometimes I wonder what Grier is thinking. I read a McD quote that he thinks he can get better play out of the O-line guys already on the team. Still, I hope they draft one or two more next week.

This past season some of the talking heads had us in the SB right up to the San Fran game when the wheels came off. Every team wins the off-season but, when the dust settles in late December it's always the same suspects there making the deep play-off runs. At this point Miami is not going to make a big splash in the draft and really can't afford to do much in free agency so, where are we going

There's a video of Jimmy Johnson and a bunch of people showing up at Zack's door to give him the good news. Jimmy was wearing his gold jacket. The tears were flowing. Great vid.

Great news. Too bad Zack and our great defense were wasted with an average offense. Now I'm going to buy a Zack jersey.

Vic Fangio and the Dolphins have come to terms on an agreement making him the highest paid coordinator in the league. Great news.

134. Re: Tua
Having Tua learn anything from Brady is a pipe dream. Brady has never shown any inclination to share his trade secrets with any underling during his career. One more thing to consider is that next season is Tua's final year on his rookie contract. The front office needs to decide if they want to extend him, sign him to a long-term contract, pick up his 5th year option or, move on. Best to let him

If nothing else, this past rebuild has shown that the front office doesn't have a clue what they are doing. We had a complete tear-down, got rid of all the young talent, amassed a king's ransom in draft picks, got rid of some bloated contracts and drafted a franchise QB at #5. We had a great cap situation. The future was bright and the road to the SB was clear. What happened? Grier whiffed on th

McDaniels needs to give up play calling duties. He sucks at it and it results in getting the plays in late. He was a big part of the loss.

Well, at least it's not a blow-out like we expected. I don't think Iggy is active so, I might be wrong about his pick6.

I'm calling for an upset. Iggy will score a pick 6 as will Van Ginkle. Sanders will set a new NFL field goal distance record and,, with the game well in hand, Tua will trot out onto the field and play the final series with no helmet.

139. Re: Tua
Derek Carr should be brought in as competition for Tua if not outright replacement. The Raiders would like to trade him but, will release him if no trade partner can be found. It's time to start looking ahead and not get caught flat footed if Tua tries to return next season and invariably gets hurt again.

We're never going to go very far with a part-time QB. Making it to the post season and getting creamed in the first round is not a success story.

I hear you Captkoi. I'm 74 and at least I can say I saw them win two Superbowls and go to a couple more. What's going on now is beyond belief. We are stuck with a part-time QB that shows flashes and then gets hurt. We HAD 2 first round picks in the bank to be able to make a move and, the owner loses one while the GM squanders the other one on a "win now" strategy trade on a pass rusher

Being able to copy and paste is a biggie. Back in the offseason I couldn't copy and paste the newly released season schedule and had to painstakingly type it out. Little things like that would help with the content level. Not to be beating a dead horse but, the season schedule on this site is still from 4 years ago. Is the secretary out sick or something? JC, is it feasible to get more members

I turned the TV off with 4 minutes to go and Teddy Dishwater looking to come back in. Miami doesn't deserve to be in the play-offs this year. Too many penalties, crap defense and, nothing but eggshells in the QB room.

Chubb, Armstead and, Howard? All big ticket items including our QB. This is not how successful teams approach the play-offs. Except for Tyreek, all of our highest paid players are on the sidelines. The "win now" approach to this season has been a complete failure so far.

Unfortunately, we only have a handful of draft picks, nothing better than a 2nd and Grier absolutely sucks at drafting. Cap money is limited due to the "Win Now" acquisitions. Veterans will have to be resigned or replaced. Off season will definitely be interesting but, not in a good way.

Hit is head on the turf during sack. Status doubtful for game at New England. I'm sorry, you just cannot build a team around someone this fragile. Teddy Bridgewater named to take 1st team snaps during practice.

Both Tony Sparano and Adam Gase took the Dolphins to the play-offs in their first year so, that bar is not set very high. There are some other basic questions that need addressing. Why is McD seemingly so inept at halftime adjustments? Look no further than this past game as well as the San Fran game. Why are the Dolphins so flat in the 2nd half? Like Philbin, why was McD not entrusted with play c

I think opposing defenses have Tua and McD figured out. This Hill or Waddle first worked for awhile but, we won't go far having to depend on big plays. Even with a sign that the running game is working McD won't stick with it enough to establish a rhythm. Seems like he wants to showcase Tua and his own beautiful play calling. At this point I have no high expectations of making the play-offs or o
