First game of the season is when you can usually sneak one past a superior team, as the Lions found out last night. The Chargers are not necessarily a superior team but, the Dolphins didn't look particularly ready for the regular season from what I saw in the preseason. If anything, Miami looked soft. They all looked flat footed and listless. It was the first pre-season game for Atlanta too but they looked sharper. Their QB Woodside was the best QB on the field. Achane had some nice runs against third stringers and had a nice kick-off return to start the game. Hopefully the starters show more next week.

Derek Carr should be brought in as competition for Tua if not outright replacement. The Raiders would like to trade him but, will release him if no trade partner can be found.
