I think a number of us continued to give him rope, and he eventually hung himself. He's done. We will likely be drafting in the top 6. This isn't a great offensive draft, but maybe we can land someone?

Unfortunately, this puts us in a position to kick the Pats out of the top spot in the AFC, making it possible they will have to play one game on the road. But, then, Belicheat will be less likely to rest his players...so we'll probably lose by 50...which is fine

The way things have gone for Indy this year, they're more likely to win without Luck. I'm OK with that, as I don't see what win can do for us now.

I'd say the #1 reason is Steven Ross. Since Day 1 he's been making questionable decisions, and this is the result.

We NEED a QB. With a young receiving trio like Matthews, Landry, and Parker, it's such a waste of talent without a real QB.

If Mike Shula learned from his Dad how to run a team, then I welcome him as a HC.

Any other QB and I'd say he's familiar enough with his receive that he knows the guy can "go up and get it" when it's high,

It didn't work out with Brian Griese, but maybe it will with Mike Shula. I'd be interested.

How about Les Miles? I keep hearing LSU may be looking for a new HC. We could do worse!

Agreed. Parker/Landry could out-do Clayton/Duper with a real QB!

225. Good day!
What can I say? We win, Pats lose! I would have preferred the Jets and/or Bills lose as well, but the highlights of that Pats-Eagles game were just fantastic! If the Pats play like that against us, we could beat them too!

I remember people saying the same thing about Tannenbaum. I'm pretty sure that whoever we hire we'll still be doomed as long as Ross is the team owner.

If Osweiller is, ultimately, successful, it will lend credence to the model of having a QB sit behind the starter for several years and learn from him. It worked for Aaron Rodgers.
