I like this pick. He was projected as a 2nd or 3rd round pick by many. He is not a thumper in the mold of Zach Thomas but he is versatile with some finesse about him. There are so many different scenarios that could play out for this linebacking crew but I think he will be in consideration for a starting spot some hwere. Misi doesn't want to man up and play MLB....Let Tripp do it...or...

One year can make all the difference in the world. We fell to 27th from 17th in 2012 and the only starter we had that was different was Jake Long who had a crappy year.

Love the plays Clay made last year and I have to agree with his peers that he is worthy of a top 100 ranking. He came in at 89. The players said it was because of his play making ability. I would say he was the top play maker on our team last year. Brent Grimes comes in at 95. A little low if you ask me. I can only think of two or three CB's that were better last year. Anyone think mo

I don't think there is any way in hell we can be anywhere close to as bad as we were last year on the offensive line. We were 27th in rushing last year. Realistically, based on what we have done so far, I would say we will make a huge jump. That was about 1154 yards by the running backs. We had the 4th fewest rushing attempts in the league with only 349. It was an abandoned aspect of our of

I can understand why he didn't play the rookies. All of them missed substantial time due to injuries and we had veteran players step up. I don't recall much "garbage time" as most games were pretty close. He played Jamar Taylor at the end of the year but his play showed why he didn't get more playing time over the vets. Patterson and Carroll exceeded all expectations and made it p

I have a better question. Why is it that guys who hang out on chat board for years have a sense of ownership on a web site that they actually have no ownership in and feel they can justify their own assholish behavior just by the fact that they have been an asshole for longer?

Here are the issues on the line as I see them.... I read an article this morning about how Turner will play LG and Smith will play RG. The problem with that is that Shelley Smith plays LG better than he plays RG and Turner excelled at RG at the Senior Bowl. The down side is that we would end up with two rookies playing next to each other. That's ok if you have Richmond Webb and Keith Sims b

Why is it that it's always the most outspoken, homophobic men who get arrested for soliciting transsexual prostitutes or having underage pics of boys on their computer?

Actually not to get off track, I really like Landry as a player and Hines Ward was always one of my favorite non-Dolphin players for the way he approached the game and the way he always had a smile on his face after every play, no matter what happened. (Not that Landry will ever be Hines Ward). My reaction to this draft was mixed because I thought we would draft by the BPA approach in a way th

One of these guys could crack the lineup just as Sam Brennen did last year. I, for one, am thankful this entire unit was finally shaken up and rid of most of the Irish underachievers. Utah State center Tyler Larsen Larsen, who is 6-foot-4, 317 pounds, was rated the seventh best center in the 2014 NFL draft. Following a knee injury in 2009 he played 51 consecutive games over the next four ye
