I think it's a good sign that our players are willing to perhaps take less $$$ to stay in Miami and play for Gase.

Tannenbaum may have had things go south in NY but I think he has done ok over the past 2 years. 2016 - traded down and got Alonso, Maxwell and Tunsil in the 1st round of the draft, Xavien Howard in the 2nd. 2015 draft - James, Parker, Ajayi. All solid players

Personally, if I were Joseph I wouldn't take the Denver job. The expectations are really high based on past success. They don't have a QB which doesn't bode well. In all likelihood, whomever goes there will be shown the door in 3 years max.

I think we have turned the corner. Gase is a bright, young coach that will only get better with experience. We aren't winning games this year because of some flukey wildcat offense that is unsustainable. There is no smoke and mirrors this year. The Dolphins are winning because all of the players are playing toward a singular goal - win each game one at a time. This offseason, the players will tra

I believe NE will have clinched home field by the time they play the Dolphins and will sit Brady for that game. The Dolphins defense has injured at least 4 QBs this years. After watching Petty get crushed by Suh and Wake, it would be prudent to protect your starting QB in a game whre is means everything to the Dolphins but doesn't mean anything to the Patriots.

It really doesn't matter at this point in the season. If Moore goes down, we're screwed and just playing out the string

I like the fact that Gase cut him during practice when he found out. Gase doesn't put up with the BS. No matter what ends up happening this season - playoffs, no playoffs, we have the right coach

I'm watching the Dolphins game yesterday at my local pub. (there were actually more Dolphins fans than anyone else so we actually got to hear the audio!!!) Guy next to me is a Patriots fan and he starts talking about how Belichik is a better coach than Shula - he's won divisions titles Superbowls blah blah blah. I replied to him that Shula took Dolphins teams to the Superbowl with THREE diffe

Gase is getting the most out of the players. We may not make the playoffs yet, but we are definitely headed in the right direction.

Fortunately, I was outside cleaning up crap in the yard from Matthew (Charleston, SC) and didn't watch the game. I did walk in to get some water in time to see the TD punt return. I had really hoped that the Dolphins would at least take a step in the right direction this year. Disappointing to say the least.

I truly believe that many of the Dolphins problems over the past years were attributable to poor coaching. We have all probably been in work situations where management sucked. Bad management/coaching can hold a company back or not develop an employee. Gase is empowering Tanneyhill and I think he is going to show signs of real improvement/development. Yes, they are professionals making millions,

I noticed the same thing. I don't post much. I have noticed that 90% of the threads can be categorized as: 1. Tanneyhill sucks 2. A particular Dolphin player is a bust/sucks and they should have drafted or signed _________ 3. Ross the owner sucks 4. The coaches suck 5. A particular poster/contributor sucks 6. After a win, the world is glorious for week 7. After a loss, refer to Numbers 1

Part of the clusterf%$^& that is the Miami Dolphins is the lack of stability. Every 2-3 years, new GM, new coach, new Czar, new whatever. Over the past couple of years, its been hard to really see what talent we truly have. Mathews and Miller were underutilized due to previous coaching regime. (I believe they will both excel in new environments) OV didn't really shine until this year. It's

The best thing I have read about GASE is that he doesn't have a "system". He looks at the players and designs the plays and strategies to meet the skill set of the player. Whether it was Sherman or Lazor, they each had their "system". Even on defense, Coyle cut the number of plays way down because the players weren't getting his "system". I am optimistic that

This year has been such and utter disaster, its hard to pinpoint just one area that needs to be fixed. I would like to see a planned "turnaround", not some quick fix, patch job based on signing one or even two players that will "save" the franchise With Tannehill's contract and the lack of projected QB talent in this years' draft, a new coach is probably going to try to mak

The main reason for the failure is the continual vision that the team is just a "few players away". They keep going for the home run shots with big free agent signings, etc. They never work out. We also have a tendency to try to find diamonds in the rough in the draft. We are not and have not been a few players away for a long time. There needs to be a true 3-4 year plan looking

Treasure - I really like Coach Campbell and it has been disappointing to see the season play out. I hoped that they would at least go down fighting/competing in games. The average loss margin this year is over 15 points. That is an absolute ass-kicking in the parity-world of the NFL.
