Sorry, it appears that the website still doesn't work properly with links. The story I cited is "100 facts for the 2019 fantasy football season" by Matthew Berry and is on ESPN.com. It is on the face of it an article about fantasy football and the the ways statistics can be manipulated to support nearly any position anybody wants to put forward, but though I don't participate in fantas

The Miami Dolphins will begin their training camp on July 25 and host a public scrimmage at Hard Rock Stadium on Aug. 3 at 1 p.m. The team will open 10 practices to the public for fans to attend — on July 25-28, July 30-Aug. 2, and Aug. 5 and 6 — at the Baptist Health Training Facility at Nova Southeastern University. Tickets for the 10 open practices are free, but limited to 2,000 atte

Perhaps the most brilliant 272 words ever spoken. Edward Everett, generally acknowleged to be the finest orator of the age, after speaking for two hours, said of Lincoln's speech, "I should be glad if I could flatter myself that I came as near to the central idea of the occasion, in two hours, as you did in two minutes."

I completely agree. I hope Ross gets the message that many Dolphins' fans, maybe most, want the team to go back to the "throwback" unis and the old logo. I refuse to wear anything with the "pussyfish" logo on it, and, from what I see around SoFla, apparently many people feel the same way. I see lots of Dolphins' logos in many forms, but they are mostly the old logo. Somebody i

What is the lead time between making the request and the actual change? Some teams seem to make a minor change very frequently.

I did know that such a rule existed, but I wasn't aware of how long the rule specified, and I'm not sure how long its been since the last change. I think the change limit time is getting close.

I am a S. Florida Resident. There isn't a specifically targeted Dolphins preview magazine that I know of, we just use Street & Smith's preview magazine, and others of its type, which cover the entire league. Dolphins Digest does still exist, both in the digital form and the physical form I used to get. The link is in "Dolphins Links" on this page. The format seems to be the same a

Both of you guys are rude. TCFP states an opinion, and backs it up with facts, statistics, and other information as seems appropriate to him. If you disagree with him, fine. State reasons as seem appropriate to you. The whole idea is that on this board, its not supposed to be personal attacks in lieu of solid contrary opinions. Neither of you has seemed to grasp that fact. EVERYONE'S opinions, st

The guy couldn't hit the broad side of a barn in college (NEVER above the LOW 50's completion percentage) and the windows don't get bigger in the pros. The better coaches stick to ONE criteria in

I have this idea that the throwback unis are being used again this year to guage how the majority of fans feel about them. I think that we will see the team wear them as often as the league allows us to. On this board, its clear that most of us are solidly for reinstating them, but there are plenty of other fans that need to be heard from. I strongly suspect that the throwbacks will become the st

On your #1: I don't remember EVER hearing Rick Weaver call Csonka a "bull" (he used "bull" as a verb), but thats neither here nor there- Ajayi played a position that NFL offenses don't use much anymore (in my opinion, a mistake that I hope Flores will correct this year with our 7th rd. draft choice), but his big problem was that he was looking to break the big one on every pla

Oh, I see what you are talking about. I was talking about that "Ourlads" site. I took a look at it, and they don't seem too sharp. Check out their idea of our starting wide receivers.

So far, I have found this guy to be quite articulate. Pretty amazing for a supposedly dumb football player. Looks like Flores is going for smart guys, like Wilkins. About time we played some smart football around here. A talented guy with a chip on his shoulder is probably going to be dangerous to his opponents. I hope. Dave Hyde wrote a column saying that Josh Rosen had "won the first day&

Yes. And that gives us, according to 790 the Ticket, 14 picks in next year's draft, including expected compensatory picks we are entitled to. So, with one first and two seconds, and ELEVEN other picks, we can make a pretty good haul. Add to that the $120+ million dollars in cap money, and we'll really be sitting pretty next April.

I am still chuckling over the reactions of the announcers on the WQAM 560 draft broadcast. When we traded down with the Saints, they pronounced the Rosen trade possibility as done. Minutes later, I heard Ian Rappaport say that the trade was now almost certainly likely to happen, and I was sure that he was right. The 48th pick was too high for Rosen, but the 62nd pick, for us, was almost a third b

I know that you and others are high on this guy, but I don't know why. Terrible completion percentage lifetime. If we can get Rosen for a 3rd-4th I think that would be worlds better- Rosen had a higher completion percentage than Jackson this year- and Rosen's was achieved against NFL competition with virtually no help or support.
