You keep bringing up Marino, TC. Marino had tbe quickest release in history. He didn't have much of a running game but he didn't need one. His problem was that he had no.defense. When Sam and I criticized Tannehill it was NOT because he was an inaccurate passer because that was NOT his problem. His problem was that he was uncomfortable to the point of being useless in the pocket. Th

Hey, oddball. What's wrong with defending Sam? What makes you think that you have WON anything? Tannehill was a bust when he was here! Both Sammy and I said it. I specified that our management and coaches were misusing his natural talents. Sam talked about him being a deer in the headlights as well. What kinda grades did you make in school?

My opinion on that draft is..... Yee HAWWW!!!! Now I sound like I did in 1965 when I transferred to the largest high school in California and all the kids used to say "Hey, everybody, look at the Cowboy!"

LOL. That was a good one! I had to laugh myself. Too bad for me that using the "search" function on this board brings out the blank out effect. Otherwise, I would revive each of those old threads and post a new posting at the end of each in which I would say, "See here's one" and "see, here's another one." But on NUMEROUS occasions, I complained about Tann

Hey, I'll be rooting for him because 1) he and I both grew up within 300 miles of each other 2) I think the Dolphin management (who you Treasure suck up to like a lap dog) misused his talents. 3) His winning only proves the truth of the sermons that I have been preaching since 2011.

Oh yeah, and I like your examples, OJ and Smollett. What about Harvey Weinstein and Jeff Epstein??? Let's do the demographics on the two you chose and the two you chose NOT TO CHOOSE.

And just what is that that has happened? Was Tannehill put into a traditional pro set offense like the Dolphins had him in????????? Or did Tennessee put him in a read option scheme like I complained THE DOLPHINS SHOULD HAVE....AND I KEPT SAYING THAT WHEN TANNEHILL WAS STILL ON OUR ROSTER. But that went over your head and the heads of the rodents that come out on the board to defend you o

And I hope he wins to prove my point that he is a read option QB and not a traditional pro set QB. I might have to call the Treasure Coast police department and have them retest you.

I give up! Talking about offensive schemes...traditional pro set which we forced Tannehill in and under which Fitz is having no trouble AS OPPOSED TO.... read run option in which Tanny played in high school, college and AND AT Tennessee in pro EXCEPT AT MIAMI is all above your pay grade.

Yeah, he succeeds when he has a great team with all the other components being A+. Who wouldn't? But Rosen before injury and Fitz took that same Oline and did much better. How do you explain that???? How do you explain it???? As I have been saying, it's NOT the Oline or lack of all pro running back. It's the offensive scheme. If you want to defend Tanny's lack of performance in Miami t

True, Griese had a hall of fame team around him and a "no name" defense. Marino on the other hand had absolutely no defense. My ex, a Colts fan, used to love to tease me with "all we'll do is outscore you." Grrrr....she was also a Yalie. Double Grrrrr.....

Well, I agreed with your post up until and including when it ended with the words, "To me it was not because of any talent deficiency, it was because of the lack of effective coaching..." The lack of effective coaching was in NOT RECOGNIZING THAT HE WAS NOT...by nature......... A TRADITIONAL PRO SET QUARTERBACK. Tennessee recognized that he was an option QB who gets nervous inside

Ken, the point is that I, I, me, me me, said that he never continued as our quarterback due to his lack of good performance. Whether he was traded, cut, or walked away from his contract does not matter in the context of our dispute. He left us. TC comes back and quibbles..he didn't walk away from us, he was traded. What's his point?? I'm not saying how he left, I'm just saying it was

He never left?????? But he was traded?????? So players who are traded are still ON the team???? Oh, maybe you thought I was saying that he RESIGNED????????? No that was NOT our discussion. You are too dumb to take the easy out and blame the coaching and management. You can only argue like a caveman who can only say "Good...bad.....good...bad."

Not just f ing with you or TC but I had heard that some QB threw a pick 6 today. That's ALSO throwing a pass for a touchdown. Was it Ryan?

Maybe if you verbalize your nightmares before they happen then they WON'T ever happen. So...........what if we pass on picking a QB and the team picking at the spot after ours trades their Pick to the Patsies who pick a quarterback who becomes the next Brady?

JSM08 is right that if you're going to pick him in the first round, you might as well pick him first to be sure you get him. It's a gamble. One that I'm not sure I would take if we can get Burrows.

Here is what the National Football League's own draft expert says about us "Don't get me wrong, I love the 37-year-old FitzMagic as a placeholder QB, but this team -- which went a remarkable 5-4 from November on (beating two division champs along the way!) despite being stripped down to the studs -- needs to find a longer-term answer under center. Fortunately, it's brimming with draft cap

I decided to look at NFL.com. I saw they had a draft analysis. This is what was written pertaining to us 5 Dolphins Record: 5-11 (.484) Previous week: No. 5 Biggest needs: QB, OL, edge rusher Don't get me wrong, I love the 37-year-old FitzMagic as a placeholder QB, but this team -- which went a remarkable 5-4 from November on (beating two division champs along the way!) despit

He won't get it, Sam. He's into blind loyalty. Whatever the boss tells him to do, he does it. No question about whether it's the right choice. Not even a question if it is not only not the right choice but even if it's downright stupid.

Yeah, when did you EVER want us to draft a QB in the first round????????????....and certainly not if we had a top 5 pick in the first round. The draft is like life. The higher the pick the more likely the success. Not a guarantee but just the odds.
