Each draft, only about 3 or 4 linemen turn out to be career impact. And not all of them are NECESSARILY top 10 1st rd picks. Not saying high draft pick QBs don't bust, just that if I have to miss on a top 3 pick, I'd rather miss on a QB. Just my way of looking at it You need not agree.

Tua's health problems are far more than a car with a few dents in it. He doesn't just have a chip on a part of his hip. HIS WHOLE HIP SOCKET HAS BEEN THROWN OFF AND TWISTED OUT OF PLACE. The most optimistic reports I have heard are that it will take at least one season to see if putting the socket back in place will correct it. It not just a car with a few dents in it. It's a car tha

It would be insane to "give away picks to move up," Mizzou, but I can't blame you for being afraid our management might be foolish enough to do just that. Like you said, I believe we can get Tua (although I'm afraid), Fromm, Herbert at 5. Why move up?

Funny, I read your response just as I am seeing Congressional response to the administration's own response. Needless to say they are not happy. It's obvious that who I am speaking of only cares about the economy. I wish the best for everyone but as I type this the news is also talking about entertainment closings and the closing of the March madness tourney.

I think all the NEW steps NOW being taken to contain and isolate the virus are smart. The guy who cares ONLY about the economy is being whipped into line and is becoming responsible for the First time. If they can play games without fans who needs hoopla surrounding a draft. A draft is far less important. Cancelling games is costing blue collar workers money. Who cares that some reporter's

Let me break down for the little child. When you welcome somebody to some place, you are saying, at the very least, that you have been there longer than them. Rick (dolphan4545) was posting here long before you even joined the forum and started posting. Now just because he hasn't posted as recently and regularly as you, that doesn't mean it is proper for you to welcome him as a newly

Probably the only NFL player I personally knew. I didn't know Greise although he sent me a personal letter after I sent him one after a rough period in his pro career. But Leroy Keyes knew me as we both marched to desegregate Lafayette, Indiana schools in 1967. I also remember him holding me and laughing after I ran the campaign for Paul Chenea (a hippie) and Linda Mitchell (a Black Woman

Learn to read first. I said illogic, not logic. It means that following your faulty logic (really illogic) you are basically arguing that although Marino and Elway and Kelley were drafted high, Marino and Kelly were worthless to their franchises because only Elway got a ring.

So following that ILLogic, Marino and Kelly were both worthLESS to their respective franchises. (insert confused smiley.)

Astro, Brady? Yes but there is an old saying. "The exception that proves the rule." For those like TC, let me break it down. Corky comes out West. He mines a certain mountain range for gold for 30 years finding nothing. Wally walks on to that range mining for gold the next day and stumbles over a brick and finds gold. Smart folks would learn from Corky, not Wally. How often i

Jlyell, the higher the draft pick that is under discussion the LESS LIKELY that our management will screw it up. All the forecasters will agree the higher the pick. The lower the pick, the less the consensus. Given the choice between our management and the pundits, I would choose the pundits.

Let me point out the obvious. It IS BASICALLY MARCH. There are NO games being played. There are EVEN NO pre season games being played. THE NEXT BIG FOOTBALL event is the draft in April. Thus the draft is a legitimate subject. If there is one subject more likely to produce heat THAN (MEANING BESIDES) which players that should be playing is....... wait for it...........wait for it
