"Checkdown" Chad is in the top 5 in every passing category during the preseason. If he can produce a 2008 Eli Manning-esque season, with the top 10 (perhaps even top 5) defense that Miami possesses, the phins are legitimate contenders this season. Whether or not you're a fan of Henne's; whether or not you were praying the Orton deal went down, Chad Henne will be the opening day star

a tad off topic, but this kid from ole miss is going to be a superstar. he has incredible breakout speed. He's rather undersized, but is still very effective and should be looked at. His name is Dexter Mccluster. check him out on youtube.

To whoever thinks Lemon was brought in for wildcat was mistaken. A quarterback does not play wildcat, he plays in a spread offense. Wildcat is meant for WR's and RB's. Therefore Pat White won't play wildcat, he'll play spread.

I don't see Merling as a starter. I say they start Jason Taylor instead.

It baffles me that nobody has taken a chance on former Hawaii standout WR Jason Rivers. He was a superstar in college, along with our very own Davone Bess. I say we reunite the two... Maybe start a 2009 version of Mark Duper and Clayton. Also, Ryan Grice-Mullen is doing pretty well in the CFL. I say we give the guys a shot.

I agree that it would make a good storyline. But at the end of the day, I want to see the dolphins win... Keeping him may not leave room for another important positional players. We'll have to wait and see.

I disagree with you dielan. Training camp just began. We need to give him a chance before we start bashing his spirals and whatnot. You rarely see Peyton Manning throw perfect spirals. His tosses are always fluttering. Coming from a former quarterback, the one thing I can tell you is that arm strength isn't as important as pocket presence and decision making. It is not something you can teach

I've been looking over some recent discussions on the chat board, and none of them seem to be speaking about Pat White... Mark my word, this guy will be an NFL star. Picking him in the 2nd round was the smartest/easiest pick Parcells and the staff ever had to make. Now with the wildcat up and running, he will not only fit in perfectly with his running threat, but the kid, like I had mentioned

Let's also remember that broke a few records that Dan the Man once held. Although it feels like Favre did it in a billion less years then Marino, it's still nice to know that the Miami Dolphins may have played a role in his retirement.

I'm a hardcore dolfan from Montreal, Canada. One thing i can say for certain is that the phins depth chart this season is one of the deepest I have ever seen. Being from Canada, I have watched many CFL (Canadian football league) games over the years. Cameron Wake, who played for the Calgary Stampeders is an amazing signing for the phins. The guy is an absolute bullet coming off the end. Grante
