A back hand by CNN who was reporting on the Patriots and their last roster move, the reporter then said off handedly, "They're playing the worst team in the NFL this week." Wow, that may have applied to us in the 1967-1968 season. But..... Never thought that would be said of us in a serious vein since. Of course, I've just given certain people on this board more reason to hate.

It's like the Ravens were playing in December and the Dolphins were in practice before the first PRE-SEASON game.

Weren't you pretty much against drafting Rosen in his draft, TC? I also seem to remember that you were not too warm to us later picking him up from Arizona. Or is this just your separate comment on Fitz?

It depends on how you define the off season. I really consider the season to start in the first week of September and end when your team is not in the playoff hunt.

You hit it on the head, JC. I don't see him as being selfish in any respect. I see him making an intelligent decision that was not only the best for his team but for himself and his family. I don't think you can force him into one of two boxes so as to condemn him for not making the choice either earlier or later. He made the decision when his mind and his body made it for him. LOL.

I went back and googled it. The Colts treated Peyton rather shabbily following when they got Luck. No need to shed any tears for them (the Colts) now receiving "psychic pay back."

Yeah, it takes an entire team. QB can't make it alone and a team can't make it without a QB.

Here is a silly article being thankful we never drafted Andrew Luck. phinphanatic.com miami-dolphins-got-lucky-not-drafting-andrew-luck-retiring You have to put in the wwws and the backslashes yoursef otherwise the message will be blanked out. It's silly because the guy we drafted, Tannehill, we have now traded away and looking objectively over Luck's career, I'd hardly say he bombed out

Yeah, 72, you and I remember 1972 when our offensive line was the main reason for our dominant success. Jim Langer at center, Bob Kuchenberg and Bob Baumhower at Guards, Wayne Moore and Norm Evans at tackle. But BTW, I saw the preseason game between the Patsies and the Tennessee Titans...guess what.............. TANNEHILLS STATS WERE BETTER THAN TOM BRADY'S!!!!! BUT YA KNOW WHY?????????

So, if you know where I live, why did you keep bringing up the local area and whether someone locally would travel to the game, Grimey????? And MY point Grimey, was that they are extending the blackout rule to cover even the other side of the continent, not just places where it is not even reasonable...wait...not only that but they are extending it to places where not IT IS NOT EVEN LOGICAL t

Grimey, be educated before you talk. Most posters on this board KNOW THAT I live in Southern California, not in Southern Florida. So, it would take a trans continental flight to see Dolphin games unless they played a road game in Los Angeles or Carson. As far as your keeping politics out of sport comment, the "45" connection of that poster number with politics was not STARTED by m

No, which is precisely why I created this thread....to show how crazy and out of control and FOR PROFIT this country has become. But from the standpoint of out of control, screw the public, screw the consumer, care nothing but for profits businesses, 45, that number the poster on this board Trasher loves so much, it ain't right but it shore does follow.

errr...you must be as dumb as the Dolphin management, Rick. From Big Springs High School in Lubbock up until the final game he played for the Dolphins, Ryan Tannehill was NEVER a POCKET QUARTERBACK. The stupid Dolphins wanted a QB and demanded that he be a pocket QB. But instead of grabbing a pocket QB, they drafted the best QB available in when??? 2011???? Well when we picked the best av

DirectV, Rick the troll. The same people to whom I pay a monthly fee to bring in all my tv programming and to whom I have paid an extra fee during the football season to see out of area games for about the last twelve years to twenty years or so. Forgive me if I trust their word or the word of a troll like you.

Saw Tannehill's first pre season game of the year. Tennessee had him roll out the overwhelming majority of the time. He spent little time in the pocket and when he did, you saw the Dolphin "deer in the headlights" Ryan Tannehill. I have yet to see the Dolphins with Rosen. See my post about Blackouts.

I just heard about it today when I had pre programmed the Pre season game on the NFL Network on my DirecTV. When the game was supposed to be replayed on my TV, I got the "sorry, the game has been Blacked out message." I called DirecTV to ask "WTF"??? They explained that not only has the black out rule been extended to PRE-SEASONS but ALSO it now applies NATIONWIDE!!!!

As far as that draft was concerned, I was the one advancing drafting Rosen which we DID NOT HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO BECAUSE the Arizona Cardinals took the unusual step of trading INTO spot number 10 when we were picking at spot 11. Logically, that meant that Arizona KNEW (OR HIGHLY SUSPECTED) that the Dolphins would have drafted Rosen had they, the Cardinals, NOT traded into the spot THAT WAS
