I agree, it didnt make sense for the 49ers to jump us for Davis, especially after the Chargers pick was a RB. 1) Like you said we had an eye on taking Davis 2) We had another trading partner that wanted Davis, when the 49ers jumped us that took them out of trading with us and we closed the deal with the Chargers. This is possible, we were looking for a higher 1st in the trade then 28.

I think Mcfadden and his ability to stay healthy and be productive in the NFl is yet to be seen. I would rather see us draft a guy then to think that our future is in Mcfadden.

I believe Jason Taylor last year with incentives took home 2.6 million dollars. I hardly think that is nothing! 1.5 base salary and he earned 1.1 million in incentives.
