1. This is a discussion board, and that includes all the players, how the players are used, the schemes, the calls, the coaches, the rules and the refs. Unless someone is personally attacking a player (which no one has), and only being critical of their play, then it will be on this board. 2. No coach is god, and all coaches think they're going to the superbowl every year. Coaches are limi

Ginn is not done, but he's way underperformed. He didn't fit our scheme/qb style at all. Now that Henne is in there maybe he will be a little bit better fit. If not, then definitely trade him. Someone put up stats comparing bess and ginn...and think about it, they were similar and yet bess was undrafted. Ginn was a first round pick. This is the year to make a decision on Ginn, so we'l

Do we really need 3 separate posts with generalizations and notifications that you've watched the previous night's newscast? Isn't that what twitter is for?

I'm a little nervous about the idea of Henne taking over. This isn't a backup coming in because of an unlucky, unforseen injury to the starter, smoothly picking up where the starter left off. No, the offense was in shambles, and Penny got hurt in fact because of it. This is the lineup Henne is stepping into. And he may not have the talent to compensate for the problems. Sparano may pull

lighten up people. To Chad Pennington! The best bloke there ever was! Lotsa heart, always helping guys out, teaching them, and organizing the whole mess he was handed. To Penny!

Go read Armando's blog and you'll be even more disgusted. He said on one route, Ginn ran the most rounded-off pattern he's ever seen in the nfl, and of course he wasn't open because of it. This is his 3rd year, folks. When Parcells came in to clean house, he kept Ginn and Ronnie because he figured those were 2 players with value. Honestly, both might have been mistakes. Trading both

I agree it's not time to clean house, that would be silly cause Parcells was brought here to be the final solution to our situation, and he has a track record. But I don't think he's done enough to bring talent here, and I think the coaching staff has let him down somewhat. When your team starts going backwards, it's not just the lack of talent, it's coaching too. Dolphins went 17-0 for one re

Honestly, it may be time to look toward the coaching. I never did before, but frankly, there are teams on the rise, new coaches, rookies, etc, and we don't seem to be one of those teams. Rex Ryan and putting together a heck of a team and he just got there. Cam is over in Baltimore watching his draft pick Flacco have the best day ever. I don't know how we missed the ship on so many qb's, and h

They're making Ronnie a wide receiver now? I guess Bess needs some help, he can't be our only receiver.

I'm fine with letting him air it out. But nothing came of it, unfortunately. I'll tell you though, unless the ball is gift-wrapped Ted won't come down with it. And why is the O line playing like shit the whole game? They had one good game on Monday, cause they wanted to prove they could block, and now they can't protect the quarterback, and can't block out of the base defense.

Well, this game is over. But I'd like to see more of Henne. He had a couple passes batted down, looks like they're watching his eyes and figuring where he's going with it. Not good that a rookie like English was able to figure him out. The more he plays, the more comfortable he'll get, though.

I think they would xray it only if they thought there was a break.

FIRST DOWN! Good job Bess helping out the new guy. Good strike by Henne.

Because of the rule, it's Henne all day. They're not protecting for him. Thanks, O line.

They need to let Henne throw the ball. Defense is going to expect running plays with a rusty backup QB in there. Call some passing plays. Put some people in there he practices with, Haynos or whoever.

There was no reason for them to throw Penny to the ground like that. If Porter did that, we'd have a flag thrown at us. It looks like he's really hurt too. Henne will be coming in.

I agree with is the year to put Henne in. He needs the work, and we need to see what we have.

Believe it or not, I think we have a good chance to win this game. But they're playing with no fire. They seem down from the last game. I think a win will help.

You saw the henne/ginn combo in preseason. It didn't work. And I agree with Mike. You have to work hard to be that bad on offense.

117. Re: WRs
Or better yet, trade for one. But britt had a good game today. He missed that long one from Collins, but otherwise he caught everything and he was double teamed too. He's only 21 so he'll get even better. Hakeem I think is hurt, but he'll be back and he was playing well prior to that.
