We need Bowe. Marshall or Bolden to open things up and give us a real big receiving threat that makes other receivers better

Wasn't Dan's first big game on a Monday night, against the Raiders?
He showed the gun but also the smarts & nice touch
He will open Ginn up as a deep threat, need to work in Bess, Hartline & Camarillo on short slants like the Pats with Welker

How do the Giants get the Browns, Chefs, Bengals(likely not as good as their record) & Raiders in the first 5 games?
Forum: Miami Dolphins Civilized Discussion
Maybe we need to go west coast? The east cost isn't winning us games!
Truth is we went D early in the draft and reached on White and a big, slow receiver from USC and things haven't panned out so far,
If we liked Thigpen why didn't we go after him instead of White, he was available after the cassel acquisition?

Why would we work out Torain with Cobbs & Hilliard? Could Ricky or Ronnie be moved for a #1 WR? Thigpen in wildcat plans.

Miami tries out Torain
The News
ESPN.com reports that the Dolphins tried out running back Ryan Torain on Tuesday.
Our View
The Dolphins are set at running back with Ronnie Brown and Ricky Williams and both appear to be health
Forum: Miami Dolphins Civilized Discussion
Thigpen may give Henne a run for his money if he doesn't perform. he is a decent mobile QB. We need a big game WR!
Didn't fit in the new coaches game plan after he went for Cassell
Forum: Miami Dolphins Civilized Discussion
Johnnie Knox went where?
Wr's with no ability to get separation, and that can't make the big catch are a recipe of failure
Forum: Miami Dolphins Civilized Discussion
its a big anti trust case, but as always supply & demand will govern and black market goods will pop up, I don't need pro sports that bad.
Maybe the salaries go down as do the prices
I heard someone say that the more corporate teams go, the less that 12th man becomes a factor as the average fan can't afford to go, replaced by less enthusiastic corporate fans
Forum: Miami Dolphins Civilized Discussion
Doesn't really equate to performing on the field. Ginn and Jamar Fletcher didn't hold out, does that make them the real deal?
My concern would be the foot injury and ability to get separation
Where the hell are Patrick Turner or Haynos when we need a jump ball in the end zone?
Forum: Miami Dolphins Civilized Discussion
Someone stated Crabtree could not be traded , ESPN said he could although SF likely isn't interested. Offer them Ginn & a pick if he is the real deal.
Forum: Miami Dolphins Civilized Discussion
Looking at the schedule I think we win maybe 8 games this year.
Again our big off season signing Gibril Wilson(nice tackle on Clark) and no receiver !We need a big time receiver that can make the big catch where Ted Ginn can not
San Diego , Bills, Jets Saints, could be a 1-5 start
Forum: Miami Dolphins Civilized Discussion
Plain and simple, the Jets have spent the money to sign big FA's we get Gibril Wilson , Jason Taylor, & Wake?
No big playmaking WR, no Faneca, no offense, Jopefully the D is improved, Ryan made them look bad, they did shut down turner
Forum: Miami Dolphins Civilized Discussion
I really think we should move Turner & a pick for one of these guys.
Run them opposite Ginn, and this opens the slot big time for welker like production from Camarillo, Bess & Hartline, and if we can run the ball, our offense becomes one of the top ones in the league. It is not today with the current WR lineup.
Forum: Miami Dolphins Civilized Discussion
We need Brandon Marshall or Bolden. Give them Turner & a #2
This gives a legit playmaker and opens things up big time over the middle for Ginn & Bess, Camarillo & Hartline
Forum: Miami Dolphins Civilized Discussion
Rivers would be a great addition, he is bigger/stronger good hands. Everyone laughed when I said to bring these guys in for a look, You can't be better prepared a s reciver than June Jones run & gun
