All that effort wasted on Manning, when we could have concentrated on a replacement receiver...that's if the Marshall trade was in the works for weeks prior. Well he hasn't signed with anyone yet, and since we are not officially out of the race, (speculators indicate that we are)...then we should concentrate on signing Flynn.

Well it's a done deal now. Unless we sign a big name now in FA, we'll have to hope Blackmon falls to us at 8th pick or go for Michael Floyd who was supposed to go mid to late first round. Floyd looks to be a good strong receiver type replacement for Marshall. Some of the draft sites had Chicago picking him in the first. If we don't get Manning, and we sign Flynn..I'd settle as a fan for this.
