You mean the "Monster" is gone....think he was due about 27 million over the next three years...gives us back about 5.5 towards our current cap. 35 million already invested in him... We'd better get something in return for the cap space cleared or this is a failure. We need a big time receiver now, hopefully one who can streach the field.

I was always told that "a fool and his money are soon parted". A lot of people on here don't like Ross but he didn't get where he is being a fool. Anyone signing Manning without some sort of guarantee that he can still throw a football is a fool.

Yep, I don't think we'll be touching Tebow. Especially if we sign Matt Flynn. Philbin is not that stupid. Plus, they already slapped the players in the arss last season by having Tim Tebow day in the Dolphins stadium. Philbin is all about respecting players, he stated that in his opening interview. I agree however it's a possible win/win for their agent. Jacksonville, just might bite....but no

Well, with the press, helicopters, and paparazzi that Miami is infested with....why would anyone announce anything. I mean come on, this is getting ridiculous.

Does Manning really want to go to a team with the Tebow fans calling for his head IF he doesn't produce in cold weather, in an open stadium, a mile up in the mountains. They have Pittsburg, Houston, New Orleans, at home next year. New England and Baltimore away, also in open stadiums. Also, I think Clady (Left Tackle) is their only first round draft guy on that line. Last I checked Mi

Flynn, makes the most sense now. No way, I'd sign a guy who has screws in his neck and won't throw. We have the upper hand on Flynn against Cleveland, well because it's in Cleveland.

Plan B is still Flynn, Manning just needs to return and he needs to make a decision on the Phins by Tue. It's not like the Dolphins don't have options with Flynn entering free agency. Miami has a good backup with Moore in the wings, the Manning deal should not break the bank, and somehow Miami should maneuver it to at least sign Reggie Wayne as well.

You right about that, but God I'd hate to have to pass up on Richardson for a right tackle or a guard in the first. That would SUCK....

Well, things are looking up for Miami, finally. Personnally I hope we pull the trigger on Manning. The trick is going to be clearing cap space for Manning and Reggie Wayne. Marshall sure is being quite during all this. If we could land both of them together and match them up with Marshall, everyone will especially in the AFC East would start sounding the panic alarms. A fall back plan should w

One thing is for sure, the Saints are screwed for next season, and maybe a few follow on seasons as well. The league will send the stongest message in history on this one. They may even lose their head coach for a good part of the year, not to mention the draft choices they're going to flush down the toilet.

Since Manning will probably settle for a heavy incentive contract, we should take him. No money up front and the guy would work his tail off to get back to a Super Bowl. If he makes it..it would be the sports story of the year. Since the Dolphins wouldn't have any money up front, then improve the OL thru free agency and draft, (i.e. 2nd and 3rd rounds). Sit back in the cat bird seat and se

I really hope it will be somebody that has a history of developing QBs, offensive minded and can manage a clock. Also, kind of young. McCoy I believe fits the ticket. So does the offensive coordinator at Tampa Bay. It would really be nice to have someone with head coaching experience at least somewhere. Shula fits that ticket and they didn't even interview him. Probably too much a threat to

McCoy seems to be the guy, and I could live with that. Wish they'd give it more time, but with the senior bowl on the horizon. McCoy seems to be the only one available. Mike Shula is out there somewhere, why don't they call him up. I'd go with someone who at least has a history and his heart would be into bringing the program back to it's better days. I think the fans would go along as well.

Gregg Williams or Greg Olson. Bring in Mike Shula as OC or hire him outright as HC (that would meet the "Young Don Shula" commitment. Just hire someone please, the Senior Bowl is approaching. and no retreads please...Parcels left a bad taste in everyone's mouth.

Personally, I wouldn't want anyone who wants full control. That type of arrangement gave us Culpepper over Brees, and saddled us with Pat White. Personnel moves need to be by committee in Miami. Fisher is really a bland option as a head coach. Time to move on.

Go ahead and trade Hartline to the Patriots, they need someone to replace Welker with in the future. Hartline would be perfect to use against us for another 10 years of Dolphin misery.
