Just intuition....what is probably hapenning, is that the st Louis deal is a little bit higher than ours...the issue is that jakes wife LOVES south Florida....at the end of the day....I am almost 99% certain that jake takes the dolphins offer...decision will be made tomorrow morning...it's pretty obvious... When it comes down to it, there is a huge value that must be placed on where you live..

Eesti, Keep in mind belichek and the Patriots have a pretty good track record on signing free agents... Amend olas injuries were not major.... Hartline had similar problems last year...they just happened to be before the season started (we were lucky)

Omar Kelly is an absolute idiot! Who publishes an article without proper substantiation? He has no clue! I agree with crowder...long is gonna resign at 6mill a season with Miami.

Dolfanmark, Jennings is 30 and signing him to a long term deal when he is past his prime is ludicrous! isn't he injury prone himself? Didn't he miss most of 2012?And...3 games in 2011...sounds like an injury prone player to me.. He hasn't eclipsed the 1000 yard barrier since 2010.... I do not see a compelling reason that he will suddenly get better.. Sounds like a washed up player to m

Once again, you all rely on your STATS!! West coast offense consists of many 8 yard passes....amendola is a good fit for the dolphins...however since we signed Brian Hartline ...I woulD prefer Wallace...

Got to give kudos to Alex Marvez....he was spot on with the Hartline deal...while it appears to be 6mill per year... I bet the last season is backloaded?..which mans that this is a 4 year deal... The last year is probably like 9 million non guaranteed... Which means that it is really a 4 year 21 mill contract...costing us 5.2 million per year... And this year is only probably counting like 3mil

Dolfanmark, You are stubborn with your stats. Over the past year, I have respected your insight on west coast offense...and how tannehill was gonna do well...you yourself, preached last year how we did NOT need a single top receiver like Brandon marshall...west coast offense preaches multiple receivers.... Listen to northeast fin fan and myself. If you are not a believer in amendola,,,then

Dolfan Mark, Dude if you only went by statistics then Wes Welker would be a nobody according to you... He Caught 437 and 687 yards in his first two seasons...so does that equate to him sucking? I personally watched amendola play a bunch of games early last season before he got injured.... Dude...the guy is a gamer... He is one player that I want on my team. His injury at the midpoint of th

If you go simply by stats...then you are correct. Pros...has a nose for end zone..had 3 TDs last season in 11 games. In 11 games had 63 receptions for 666 yards...he was on pace for 90+ receptions and 1000+ yards... He played hurt for at least 5 games and still posted those stats. He is also one tough dude... His injuries are mostly due to playing on artificial turf....south Florida's natur

This guy is unrestricted... And available probably at 4-5 million a year. He was by for the most dangerous player the rams had... He is Wes welker on steroids....and he is a red zone threat. I'd rather sign him than Hartline.... And then try to sign wallace or draft tavon Austin or swope... I love Hartline...but amendola is more dangerous and a serious gamer.. Not sure if anyone has

I admire the redskins for choosing a second qb... If rg3 gets hurt or is not the real deal, they have a second option... Cousins has great potential!

3 teams in question: 1) Cleveland getting duped by minnesota gm to move up 1 spot and trade away a crap load of picks to get a running back! Spielman learned his lesson, and dished out a taste of his own medicine...recall how he got duped by new England to move up a spot to select Vernon Carey, when NE always had intended to take wilfork... Personally, if I were a cleveland fan...I would sim

Watching this for the first time makes me very enthusiastic about our future! This kid has it all! I think grudgen may want to come down and coach us! After seeing this video, I wouldn't be surprised to see tannehill either start day 1 or by game 4 or 5! This kid is seriously talented! I actually prefer him to Luck! Im serious! Luck, does not have the arm this guy has!

Very well said, BNF! One note, because of the new collective bargaining agreement, we need to continue drafting highly, ranked qb prospects every year until we hit the jackpot! From a $$$ standpoint it won't set us back at all! I hope we hit it with RT

Treasure coast, I agree with you on Bess! According to DM, he should be jettisoned because of his high salary and slowness! Regarding Pennington...he didn't help miami to 11 wins because of his arm strength...it was because of his efficiency...he has probably the highest completion percentage of any qb out there. He was also extremely efficient on 3rd down... His issue was staying he

DM, So you r basically saying that it was a fluke that the dolphins won 11 games with Pennington! Sorry, I don't buy it! What does everyone else on this board think?

Currently the patriots best receivers are their tight ends... And they were drafted in the 1st three rounds....

You obviously have no clue... I guess since you didn't list chad penningtons probowl season with us in your top 6 "most productive" qb seasons, then he was garbage too... Don't put all your stock in just stats .... Pennington was the single reason, we got 11 wins and won the division... He was great on 3rd down, and was extremely clutch when it counted. I see some simi

Dolanmark,, You honestly are a real pessimist! You are happy they got rid of Marshall, They should dump bess...their best proven receiver on the roster They should dump moore...(probably our 2nd most productive qb since Marino) What other eye opening moves are you hoping for? You want to use a bunch of no name rookie receivers drafted in the 6th and 7th rounds...and you expect t

Dolfanmark, Anyway you slice and dice it, Moore had a great season... I believe that he had the 12th best passer rating of all qbs in the nfl... And he did not have the luxury of padding his stats at the end of blowout games, as he was in many close games! I noticed intangibles, such as 3rd down completions, and making clutch plays! I honestly saw none of that with Henne in 3 seasons!

The only concern I have is wide receiver... Mcnutt was there....and we chose Cunningham instead... Hopefully one of the wr's chosen pans out... Think how solid we are at running back and offensive line. We r just a right guard away from being REAL solid there.

Sorry,,,,I completely disagree! Garrard has been out of football for almost 2 years! He might/could be damaged goods! Why would you put your faith in garrard when u have an excelling qb in Moore... Garrard will and should be dumped! Unless they want a 3rd qb for depth!

We talked a lot before the draft! I give Ireland a B draft grade. He would of got an A if he chose mcnutt or streeter over cunningham. I was truly pleased with the prospects we chose.... This was truly a much different draft than most typical dolphin drafts. This is precisely how a franchise can become great! With drafts like this! I especially love the Lamar miller pick! I l

Chambers, A top lb,wr, or cb, will not make your team "elite" Unless you think outside the box, you will continue to be mediocre.... The ONLY position that changes the game is a QB... No guarantees,,,, but we have an opportunity with this kid to be elite... IMO, t is necessary to pick a QB in round 1 every year until we hit the jackpot! This kid has to much talent and in

Lancanfora is an absolute IDIOT! He has absolutely no clue! We will not have to trade up for tanehill.... In fact we might be able to trade down a few spots... I do absolutely support us drafting him at #8 though. We need to keep drafting top qb prospects in the first round until we hit the jackpot!
