Of course he will start. The days of the QB sitting for a year are over. The money alone will force the coaches\management to play him. I do wish him well but he was never going to be in Miami anyways. Along with the 5 other QB's picked before out pick. Reaching for Lamar at 11 would have been a huge mistake as well. Trading down and possibly taking him later could have worked. But if

I know for a fact that Tanne is no Tom Brady. There is only one Brady just like there is only one Marino. But to honestly say Tanne is garbage and will never help this team win is ridiculous. Football is a team sport. One person cannot do everything. Yes Tanne needs work but he is also better than anything we have had since Marino. This team is just garbage overall but let's blame that

RGIII was out all last year and I couldn't even tell you the last game he actually started a game. Yes RGIII is very fragile but Lamar will not last long scrambling either. Yes he is a little bigger than RGIII but he is no Newton. Wait the NFL is pretty much flag football now so yea it may work out for Lamar. Okay does this make it better....Josh Woodrum out performed him. All bu

Tannehill's numbers seem to be pretty good despite Parker. So it couldn't be that Parker underachieves could it? Tannehill is a good QB...Not great...Good enough to carry this team to the playoffs. Much worse QB's have won SuperBowls. When you play in a division with NE it makes it pretty difficult to make it to the playoffs every year.

All good things and yes usually the Def is way above the Off. I don't think they are rolling him out much yet if at all. I am sure that will be tested soon though. He is going to be wearing a brace possibly all year now so let's see how that affects him.

I have seen they were only interested in 2 of them (Mayfield and don't recall the o

Better than all pro? So you think he would be a top reciever in the league? And we traded him just like that... I love Landry but he can't compete with Julio or a healthy Jordy. Probably 10-15 number 1 receivers he can't compete with. Be an amazing addition to a team with a stud number 1 for sure.

I see your point there Sam...But also the Packers or Falcons would not have traded him...haha... The truth that they may not be quality guys yes but there is no truth that the Browns QB's are better than what we have...That is laughable as well. I would take a healthy Tanne over anyone on that roster right now and that includes Baker. Other than a healthy Tanne I would agree with him.

What are players suppose to say about the current team they play for? Why would any player bash their current team. It was a blanket statements saying "the QB's in Miami were not as good". What if he said "Well the QB's here in Cleveland could learn a thing or two from Miami's QBs". How well would that go over with his team? These players are not dumb. They will not b

How about both of them stay healthy. Would love to see what they could do together for a full season.

I think he meant anywhere as in not just this article but any other article out there. General blanket statement. Maybe on another line or paragraph would have been better suited for the context. After the other 4 QB's were gone there was no way we would have taken Jackson at 12. Maybe that trade down wasn't there.

Rick I agree with everything you said right there. That was my point about Ajayi. Had either had huge chunks or little gains. That is why his YPC were inflated. I remember games were I was like "this guy is a beast" and most other games I was like "this guy sucks"...I guess that is the fan in me. I believe Drake stepped up after Ajayi was traded and did very well. Dra

He either got 2 or 3 yards or huge chunks, hence the 5 ypc. I agree he was great at times but the question was is he the main reason. I don't think he was. He would simply vanish in some games when we needed him the most. But again was amazed at his season. I agree stats aren't always a sign of a great player but they do play a roll. We had a pretty cake schedule and the division

I think he helped but he wasn't the main reason. He was great but he was also mediocre. I was just answering your question on if he was the main reason we won 10 that year. I think it helped that the Jets and Bills sucked and the schedule was the easiest it has been for us in a few seasons. I mean Browns, Bengals, old Rams, 49'ers and not to mention the first game of the year against th

Ajayi had 4 games rushing over 100 yards that year. Yes three of those games were for 200+. So if you take those 4 games he rushed for a total of 635 yards. The other 11 games (he didn't play week 1) total was 637. So although he may have helped in 4 games the other 11 he didn't show. The most he had in the games he didn't go over 100 was 79 which 40 of that was on 1 run. He only

I thought there was talks about not actually showing the National Anthem on TV. Just skipping that part anyways. Still having it live at the stadium just not put on a platform.

I hear you mizzou. So few that actually do this from week to week but the issue is those are the ones that get attention. The teammates also get alienated if they spreak out against those players. Just look at that lineman from Pitt last year. Only guy to come out of the looker room then the next day apoligized for doing it. I mean WTF...stand up for what you believe in. I may be wrong a

I was mainly referring to the first paragraph of your post. What coach wouldn't say those things about his team. I was made about Ajayi leaving till I actually thought about it. There were games when he just dissappeared and seemed to not care. We don't know went on behind the scene. Maybe he was a selfish a$$ who didn't fit well with the culture the coach was trying to setup. I believe

I was thinking the same thing. What coach is going to come out and talk trash about a team he manages? Either talk them up or shut the hell up and give vague responses like belichick. He would get roasted if he came out and said horrible things about his players or management. Sad but true...

Chyren...I actually never said that those QB's would not getting drafted before Miami picked. I actually thought the opposite. I knew they would be gone and I didn't want us to trade up to get one. Just because they were taken in the first 10 picks does not mean that was smart for any team. Honestly if one fell to us I would not have been upset. I just think we were better off not doing

With your rational, anyone in the league is one hit away from a wheelchair. You are just hell bent on that being Tanne. What makes him different from anyone else in the league? Has he had multiple surgeries on his knees? Has he been plagued with injury his entire career? Its like you want him to go down just so you can be right. Like tcpf said, you care more about being right than the tea

The car analogy is pure stupidity. I am pretty sure football is a team sport. This is not golf. Go get your so called engine and see how it runs on square tires. I never once mentioned Brady on this topic either. I just believe that we improved on this draft even without signing a QB. All 4-5 that you were so in love with were gone before we picked. Should we have gave up more to move
