I like that he actually started to throw the ball down the field towards the end of the game. Yes the trick plays helped him out but there for a minute our offense looked different. He had a few nice touches on relatively deep passes for this offense. Howard is a beast. If Jones can bounce back and be healthy, we would have one of the best secondaries in the league.

You are correct. Don't know if they would have taken them either. I do think they would have taken Mayfield honestly. But no way he was falling to 11... This team is in such disarray I don't think having a new QB to back up Tanne (in case of injury) would even help them win more. I just don't see it anywhere on this team.
