This is a moderated phorum for the CIVILIZED discussion of the Miami Dolphins. In this phorum, there are rules and moderators to make sure you abide by the rules. The moderators for this phorum are JC and Colonel.
First, Tebow is a Junior and probably won't enter the draft.
Second, Tebow can throw the freaking rock. He has become more and more accurate this season. He is also smart. A big strong smart QB with a big accurate arm will make it in the NFL.
Guys I think you're wrong about Tebow. If he decides to play Pro ball, and he might not, I believe he will be a true asset to any team.
And yes, he

Why the heck would you want Teboe to go the the Jets?
I like Mike Shannah to go there. That way he can screw them up even more like he did the Broncos.

In 2001, yes.

The Phins will win because they will keep the ball away from the Ravens and our D will rise to the occasion.

First of all Parcells is not gone. Second, anyone who has a buyer with the right price and wants to sell would be a freaking fool not to sell now. The difference in cap gains tax that Obama wants is huge. So selling now is the smart thing to do if sell is in the short future.
Guys, don't talk business if you are going to let emotions get in the way. And this is a business, don't forget that. L

You guys are right on about Simms, but right now, NOTHING can get me upset. Phins are IN. Yes!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Let's see,
Beat the Ravens, beat the Chargers (already did this once), beat the Colts? Yup, we can do this, beat the Titans, sure we can, the beat the NFC has-beens. Did I leave someone out?
Maybe that will get us some respect. Na, they'll say it's luck or something. But why cares???

Actually, I've been waiting all year for Ronnie to throw over the middle. That play should be bread and butter in the the Wildcat. It also opened up the run a little more. Something the D has to protect against. The Ravens stopped the Wildcat cold last time. Will be interesting to see what happens Sunday.

I think Cassel will be with the Pats even if Brady comes back. Proven that if a team wants to be consistently good you need a back up that can perform well. Cassel did and will be the future of the Pats. If Brady does come back he will most likely get hurt again and that might finish him. Or he might be finished now. At any rate, I don't see the Pats trading Cassel. I see them keeping him even wi

I,m going to Vegas with some friends for a Super Bowl party. I they asked who I'll be betting on. I said the Phins of coarse. They think I'm crazy, but this is sure more fun than I've had at the last game of the season in a long long time.
Count on it, we'll all be betting on the Phins.

Defense is the key as always. We MUST rise to the occasion or the Jets will score to many points for us to overcome. Stop the freaking Jets cold!!!!!!!!!!

I think Henning has been saving a few wrinkles just for the Jests. Not a total new look, but something good just for them.

That was bad. Corey is so thin at only 155lbs 6'4", I can see why it happened.

Lousy attitude? Rooting for the Phins to win out is a bad attitude? Then maybe it's time for you to root elseware. I'm rooting for the Phins and could care less about anyone else.

Dolphin fans are all over the world. When I went to the game in Denver I could hardly believe how many Dolfans were there, it was great!!
Forum: Miami Dolphins Civilized Discussion
What's all this WE stuff. We have no control, we are just fans. WE need to root for the Phins to kick KC AND the Jets, period and not worry about what everyone else does cause WE have no control over it.

Shula coached DBs with Weib Ubank of the then Colts. Weib (sp) went to the Jets and Shula became head coach of the Colts.
Here's the deal. Any head coach needs to have the ability to hire good assistants top to bottom. He needs leadership AND management skills with an abundance of energy. The best at that will be the best head coach. That was Cams big problem as we all know.

UFC fights has progressed into a pretty good sport. Came from back alley brawls to something very controlled packed with action. I watch often but could not tell anyone who the fighters are or predict anything.
I impressed with the athletic ability and how tough it is. That being said, I haven't seen anyone seriously injured as the refs are really good at keeping control.
Just my opinion.

Yes it is fair. They are the best in their division like it or not. We may or may not be the best. We will find out,

Good to see you back A&O. Yes, I think he'd be worth a big chunk of change. I'd rather pay him that bring in another #1 or 2 and pay as much.
WRs can come in the later rounds.
BTW, what we need most is depth at OL.
Forum: Miami Dolphins Civilized Discussion
I agree that the Broncos are lucky to be in a lousy division this year, but that is not their fault. They are surly lucky to be in the playoffs. If they are a bad team, they won't get far anyway.
If we do make the playoffs, we will have proven that we are worthy and a good match up in that first game.
Go Phins and pgastlrs86, thanks for the thoughts. Until we meet in the playoffs, good luck
Forum: Miami Dolphins Civilized Discussion
So who the hell cares who we play? Why take the time look up all these stats?
We are 9-5 and can make the playoffs after 1-15 last year. That alone is all we need to know.
Of coarse we have a weak schedule, that is the way the league is set up.
We will continue to improve and get there as a solid #1 team. We have the front office and coaching to do it.
So there.
Forum: Miami Dolphins Civilized Discussion
Okay JC I'll buy that. I got so blind with the New Orleans heat and the scotch how am I to remember. 21-0, yes that's about right.
Anyway, the Superdome story is next up.
