From USCRipsIt.com: - WR Patrick Turner: 4.59/40 He's big but not fast and certainly not quick. He'd better work overtime on getting open.

White will play a lot of special teams and will return kicks...I won't be suprised if he is also our third down running back thereby catching a few passes in space. I'll be very suprised if he makes the team as a full time quarterback...IMHO, he's too small for that despite his athletic ability. WR/KR/PR/RB/Gadget guy, and situational quarterback, I can see. I'll be more than satisfied wit

OK, a couple of points: Police Officers are not bad people and the few that are make up the vast minority. They have a very dangerous job to do and they do it within the dictates of the law day in and day out without regard for outside circumstances. Most people think that they SHOULD be allowed to commit crimes, and violations that they themselves rationalize as harmless...simply because they th

No way I'd trade for Cutler. Pennington teaching Henne and Beck for another year is a good thing and will give us two quality well prepared players to choose from on the day Pennington does leave. Then we draft another guy to groom as the #3.

Barry Sanders...he was pure magic. But then again I could easily add, Gayle Sayers, Eric Dickerson, Earl Campbell, Jim Brown and Walter Payton. If I was making an all time team...it'd have the following players. RB-Barry Sanders RB-Earl Campbell FB-Larry Csonka.

The issue surrounding Beck is that no one knows if he is any good or not. He had very limited playing time and not nearly enough of it to determine if he can play/improve/learn or not. The smart move for the team would be to keep him and develop him...as I said before Pennington won't be here a lot longer and we will need two young and developed quarterbacks to step in. Then we draft another youn

He had to play behind the worst offensive line this team has ever had IMHO. He then had little to no help at the skill positions and a lot of key injuries. A new scheme t

I wouldn't mind having Coles. He still has speed and he always had the size so picking him up would only make the offense more dangerous....Not suggesting that we use it as a staple or anything but more spread offense is what we should be seeing out of the unit anyway. I'd still draft someone even if we do pick up a WR in F/A.

I wouldn't touch Vick with a ten foot pole. Besides he's really not that good of a player....never was IMHO. And Janikowski, Ummm, no. There is nothing wrong with the kicker we have. He just needs to work on the touchbacks during the off season. Beck, keep him on the roster. Beck and Henne working extensively with Pennington will make them both better players, given the chance to play and w

Beck shouldn't get traded at all. Pennington is the quarterback and he should be working overtime with Henne AND Beck because the team will need them both to be all that they can be once he leaves.

Not exactly...toward the end of the season Bess was seeing "some" double coverage though not as much as Ginn. They both did some good work in beating it from time to time too. That work needs to continue. Camarillo was hurt so he's really a moot point. The point here is really that with Bess, Ginn, Carmarillo, London, a quality big bodied rookie with speed, Polite, Fasano, Martin, Brown

What you see here is Ginn getting the ball and going immediately up the field. The past two seasons I've noticed that he runs side to side a bit too much for us on the kick returns. He needs to play a tad more agressivly IMHO. Maybe the coaches are telling him to use his speed more and not to take direct hits, maybe he is afraid to get hit...who knows. Also he sees better coverage teams in

I think we can still get a big/fast guy with our first pick in the second round and that may be enough because really all we need is a guy to make Ginn, Camarillo and Bess see single coverage more often. But we'd certainly have to do our homework because a bust there would be bad. I'd agree that I don't see Parcells drafting a WR with our first round pick unless a blue chip guy falls to us...and

Because if we get those kind of players they will not be rookies when Henne/Beck take over at quarterback and they will be better equiped to help them out. Not to mention that better targets will in the interim make Pennigton better as well. I wouldn't even look at a WR that didn't have 4.4 speed at a minnimum. TJ, no thanks. Just because you have speed and can go deep does not mean that such a

Situational pass rusher and the league minnimum salary. $30,000.00 bonus for each sack he gets. I'd take him back under those terms. Zach, I'd also bring back but only for depth and with the condition that he try his hand at being an Player/assistant LB coach.

I wouldn't be suprised if we drafted defense only the first day but I would be pretty upset. Sure we need defensive help and depth but we also need help on the offensive side of the ball and we aren't going to get a dominating, big time, playmaker at WR on the second day. Or a dominating O-Lineman...unless we simply get lucky.

I agree, a team can't be one dimensional and expect to win a championship. Sure a team or two have been able to pull it off in the past but you really need a good defense, playmakers at wide receiver, running back and a quality quarterback...then add to that a bit of luck. In short, a pretty complete team. Oh, and if the Cards didn't have the saftey fall down...

Well given the state of the team at the time I'd have to say Quinn. I like Ginn and think he will continue to improve but in that draft we needed a quarterback...Quinn was available and I'd have taken him. For the record though I liked Beck better than Quinn and if I'd have been in charge I'd have ultimately taken them both. I also would have taken Brees and then Rivers two players I was pisse

We need someone along the O-line in this years draft. If that means drafting a bigger center and Moving Satele to guard then thats OK by me. Either way though he'll have to add some more muscle and put on 10-20 pounds.

I'd love to see us take a big, tall and fast WR in the first round but I have to agree that we most likely won't even though we need a big time player in that position. The only player worth the money this year would be Bolden and I don't see us paying him what he'd want. Especially after his extremely juvenile pouting incident. I think O-Line or D-Line is the best bet pick at #25 unless a "

I'd take a WR with the first pick...but it would have to be someone with size. Say 200-215, 6'0"+ and that runs a 4.4/40 or lower and with obviously great hands. This person would also have to be very moldable and willing to work his butt off on conditioning and route running (no matter how good he may be coming out of school) before, during and after camp. If there are none of those play

The only way I think we should sign a center is if we are going to move Satele to guard. And then we'd still need to draft another Guard or tackle because we will need the depth.
