Agree, always have, in denial every year I try to act like we can make it with whatever average Joe or journeyman we have but I just can’t, QB is THE most important position 100 times over in today’s NFL. Why do you think the Pats can plug in guys off the street and look good at Oline???!!! Did the Colts worry about how bad their Oline or Linebackers were when they drafted Manning? I know,

First, no defender within 20 yards of a receiver on 3rd and long, then we make ANOTHER 5 ft 180 pound white guy look like Walter Peyton...I’m done...taking a drink and a nap. See you guys.

Coaching sucks, no doubt. But I’m sorry, they can’t tackle, the can’t cover, they can fill gaps...they can’t block, they cant get open, they make STUPID penalties...these are supposed to be professional NFL players. It’s hard to blame ‘coaching’ for stuff they should have learned in middle school. They are 1.) No talent bums. Or 2.) Just don’t care.

I would give receivers a B that's about it. There are some names that are SUPPOSED to be talented, Suh, Poncey, haven't seen it lately. I know the secondary was supposed to be some kind of top 5 unit,

Winning more than one more game will be a minor miracle. I'm going with 5-11. The team has given up and the coaches are clueless as to what to do about it. Of course being devoid of any meaningful talent doesn't help lol...

Cutler is what he is. A journeyman brought out of retirement when our starter goes down because we kept a journeyman who's ready for retirement as backup. Could there be any bigger indictment of the wingnuts running/coaching this team???? I like Moore, hes a smart guy with heart. But every time he's come in in relief of one of our looooooong line of scrubs, history has repeated itself: H

Coaching sucks no doubt. But its hard to see how the return of Don Shula in his prime would help much. A guy who was working as an announcer at QB with a has been who never really was at backup. No RB, No O-Line, No secondary, Keystone Cops for LB's, etc, etc. The problem is systemic. Another reset is coming, but based on Ross' choices and decisions so far, I don't have much hope the next o

My question is: Is Gase, like Ross, going to put up with the continued incompetence of his subordinates to do their job??? This isn't the 1950's a head coach can't do all the preparing and motivating. Some one said the worst part of hiring a rookie head coach is his inability to attract good assistants. Well, he's not a rookie anymore. Can you imagine Bellicheat putting up with a OLine or a g

Its hard to look at Tannenbaum's moves here AND his career before he got here and see him as anything other than pretty poor. But what jsm08 said above is dead on : "When you hire first time HCs you get below average staffs". Even if Tannenbaum picked winners every other time, putting them in the hands of our deadhead staff wouldn't lead to much.

So Ajayi was complaining to coaches and other players about Gase, play calling, Schemes...becoming a 'distraction' or 'locker room cancer'. Ok, then If I'm the coach I trade him too (although proboly not for a 4th rd pick). But there is another question to ask: Was he right? Sounds a lot like some of what we complain about and Ajayi, like most NFL players, HAS played a lot more football than a

This is the talk of yet another 'system guy' who's system just isn't working and that leaves him clueless. If you're Mike Ditka or Vince Lombardi coaching a talented team with loads of potential, making an example of one of your top producing players for lack of effort or whatever, MIGHT make a little sense. If your Adam Gase with our hapless bunch, you probobly just lost the team.

Good Grief...And LANDRY is being shopped???? It's over. Get ready for yet another 'reset' next year. What assistant with no head coaching experience will we give the reins to this time? All the 'bad attitude', 'not a team player' and 'just doesn't play hard' problems would disappear if we had an organization that the players had confidence in and we could win a few games.

With Parker and Cutler out, they knew all they ahad to do was stop Ayaji last night and they did. There is no one on this team (hurt or playing) with enough talent and heart to get it done when the other team is expecting it. We have assembled a mediocre team that is just BARELY competitive IF and WHEN they are all healthy and playing well. There is just no room for error 'cause nobody is gonna

The OLine mirrors the rest of the team... a bunch of heartless players who are 'just good enough' at their position. When your whole team is made up of that and a couple of guys get hurt, the whole house of cards falls because there is no one with the talent or b@lls to take up the slack. Said it before, I'll say it again...NO DIFFERENCE MAKERS on this team.

Accuracy is off but that could be just unfamiliarity. But he’s showing his age to me...never had a cannon, but looks like he’s barely got a pop gun now. Taking the ball to long to get there. Also, he once was fairly mobile..appears that’s mostly gone. He’s a smart guy, just no tools left.
