I agree with the conservitive play calling after the fake punt. Should have let T-Hill roll out with the TE and RB going down field, one short and one 15-20 yards down field. If niether is open then run for it. Bush up the middle would have been a good call if were running the ball well all day!

What I don't understand is how peole can give up on a QB who is only starting his 11th game of his career. There is no way to know if he will be a successful QB at this point in time. He is going to show flashes of brillance and look like a rookie, which he sort of is, at other times. As for the people who say he sucked at Michigan, you need to relise that sometimes QB's who were just average in

"Weak argument dude... Marino played 8 games every year in beautiful Miami, lol, it's not like you're comparing Brady who plays in New England snow or something. Most of the games I remember watching were in sunny 70-80 degree weather, except when we went to New England, Buffalo and New York for those 3 games. Don't forget, Peyton was AFC East for a while too, also having to go to New Englan

He can't play the ball very well and when he does he can't catch it! His bad plays have far out weighed his good ones.

Manning played at least 10 games a year, every year, in doors with no weather conditions. Plus, he has also played most of his career during the illegal contact rule. WR's could be mugged during Marinos days and he had absolutely no running game. Manning thrives off the play action and would not fair as well with out it. To say he is better than Marino, without looking at these facts, does not ma

I think so, but it's not like he was lighting it up. He had a great team surrounding him. Henne does not. Besides, my post was more towards Manning. There have been numorous QB's in history that have started out nearly as bad as Manning and have turned it around after a few years. His brother comes to mind. As does Aikman, Young & that old man on the Vikings! The point is, that you don't make

To make a snap judgement on a first year QB, just shows how little about football this guy knows.

"Dude, Peyton Manning is better than Marino was... and I'm gonna gag saying this, but Tom Brady just might be too" Good examples.....both of those guys sucked in their first year. Manning would have had you throwing up all day long!

I sure hope our coaching staff finds a way to get off to a better start next year. 0-2 and then 0-3 just dosen't cut it! It makes you have to work to hard to get back into things and when your loaded with youth, that makes it even harder. The one good thing is it gives us good experience. Except in Gibril Wilsons case. He is hopeless! I can't think of a worse safety in our history than he. Not ev

Sore loser comment alert! Henne is looking better then most QB's have ever looked at this point in his carreer. It's his first year!

That makes no sense! How would you have known where the ball was being thrown?

He should have made the catch, plain and simple. He did not cost us the game. That was a team effort! We never should have been in a 4th and 15 situation to begin with! Our defense is to young in some areas and to old in others. It's time to let Mr. Wake play more, that guy has a serious motor on him and Joey is just taking time away from him.

ranger1, this is a team game and while Ginn helped us win on sunday, he only helped us loose the other games you are referring too. He did not loose the games himself. In fact, if the defense would have showed up for just 5 minutes of the Colts game we would have won. We did not loose the Saints game because of Ginn! We should have been up 24-3, with 1st and 10 at our own 20 in the 3rd quater, bu

It seems to me, that for the first time this year, the passing lanes weren't so open. I know Gin has sucked as a WR, but we have to admit, that when he is in there, the defense has to keep track of him. Especially the safeties! If we want to keep 8-9 out of the box, then I think he needs to be in there. They just need to make passes to him be down field or in stride across the middle. Leave the h

ranger1, there is no need to be an ass! Every player that comes into the league deserves a chance to prove himself. 3 years is usually the norm. It has not been 3 years, it has been 2 years and 7 games. he has improved his route running, but his pass catching skills suck. That does not mean he won't be able to learn to catch better. You can pretty much throw out his first year as well, he played

I don't miss him one bit. Henne had some passes dropped and was dropped himself on several occasions. He doesn't have the WR's he needs to make big plays. If he had better timing with hartline, they would have hooked up for another big play today, but he overthrew him.

The blown call on the Bess catch did not hurt anyone. We ended up punting on that drive anyway. If they get the call right on the field before halftime, then the play is ruled down at the 1/2 yard line and the clock runs out on the Saints, because they had no time outs left. The INT return was not a TD and anyone using multiple angles and some common sense would see that. The refs blew severa

It didn't help that the refs blew that call right before halftime. If they get the call right in the first place, then time expires and we are up 24-3 at the half. They also blew the call on the interception return. There is no way that ball wasn't out before he crossed the goal line! With all the money the NFL gets, there should be camaras at every angle for the endzone at every game! Those play

The saints can be run on, so we have to be able to run the ball. On the road against the Bills, they were only ahead by 7 with about 10 minutes to go in the game. And against the Jets at home, they won by scoring 2 times on defense. We have outplayed the common oppents. We get them at home and hopefully they will be in their black jerseys. If we have trouble scoring it's going to be a long day!

It hasn't been 3 years! He is in his 3rd year and has played all of 4 games. He has gotton behind the secondary on several occasions, only to be overthrown or not thrown to at all. He has improved every year he has been here and should be allowed to finish the year before he is judged!

Let's not forget, that he has gotten behind the secondary on several occasions this year and we have overthrown him or completely missed him all together.

I think we are going to see alot of growing pains before we see success. Henne has nowhere near the tools of Ryan and Flacco did i their first year. Yes, he has Ricky & Ronnie, but teams are probaly going to stackthe box now to see what this kid can do. And with the WR's we have, that might not work out as well as we would hope for. Let's jst hope he can hit some early deep balls, so that tea
