If Cards give up Boldin for a 2nd round pick, then they are dumber than a box of rocks! They hold the all the cards, pun intended, so they can choose to keep him and make him play or he sits out. I doubt he would sit out, but they will play without him either way, if they are smart. They'll get a 1st for him from someone, if they play the waiting game.

Heck, I'd trade the #25 pick for Boldin. They won't take anything less and if they do their stupid! There are no sure fire picks in the draft, let alone the 25th pick. Boldin is a lock to come in and produce big numbers and help your team right away. The odds of getting that with the 25th pick in the draft are much lower. You even have a chance of that plyer being a bust. You don't get that with

According to what I read earlier today, it looks like we will go with whoever we have ranked the highest on our charts. If there are several ranked the same, but at different positions, then we go with the position we need most. Or whoever Bill wants!

Yes it's only 2 games, but that would have changed alot for us. Raiders & Cheifs or Titans & Steelers. That makes a huge difference! Plus whatever NFC division you get will make or break you sometimes as well. We got the weakest by far last year. Next year we get the Falcons, who are on their way up, Panthers, Saints & Bucs. All have good coaches and should be solid again. If not bett

Let me ask you this. Why does a team have a harder schedule? Because, they finish at the top of their division or the league. Thus they are already a quality team. The teams at the bottom get the easier schedules. And they have to start to get better. We did and some didn't! If we would have been matched up against a better schedule, we would probaly not had the same success that we had. If you s

There was 2 CB's, 1 from West Virginia & 1 from Wake Forest, both made some really nice plays. The guy from Wake Forest dropped a sure pick 6. He also set the ACC record for interceptions in a career with 23.

Hmmm.... give up a 1st round pick at #25 for an all-pro LBer? No brainer! There are no guarentees with the pick and you get one with Peppers. Please!!!

You might want to tell Sparanos that! They seem to think that he can make the transition. He produced 6 sacks in his first year and held his own against the run. He made some really nice plays towards the end of the year, that impacted games. The one against the Chiefs at the end of the game sealed the victory. He read the play and forced the QB to change his position and then sacked him. This in

Let's not forget that Roth just played his first season at OLB in the NFL. he didn't due that bad and the coaches seem to think he can get better. So to say he is not an every down player would be speculation. He may get better. I still think we should try and address the position in the draft just in case, but none the less he deserves a chance to get better.

This is a very good signing. I don't expect him to produce like he did in the CFL, but he really doesn't have to. If he can manage to get 8-10 sacks a year, that would help us out. 23 sacks is great, but he did that in 19 games, plus 2 playoff games. Also the level of talent, while better than college, is not the same as the NFL.

I was talking about playing the NFC East versus playing the NFC West. And besides, I don't think that the AFC East was stronger than the NFC East, just because they had better records. We were better than the Bills and Jets by seasons end, but not the Pats. I think we would have struggled against every team in the NFC East except Washington and even that would still be a close game. We were able

While I like that we improved, I also know that our record was in part due to our schedule. If we would hve played the NFC East, I think we would have not made the play-offs. Next year we will face alot harder schedule, based on how teams played this year, and I know that those teams may not be as good next year, but they could also be better. We will have to get better in certain areas, just to

Great point about the strength of Percy Harvin. He is what I wish Ted Ginn was. I don't understand all of the comparisions of some posters on here between Ginn and Steve Smith. Yes both have great speed, but that is where the comparisons end. Steve Smith is physical enough to beat press coverage at the line of scrimmage. Ted Ginn is not strong enough physically to win those battles. People

Fitzgerald broke out in his second season after 780 in his first. Evans didn't break out until his third season and regressed after his first(843 & 743). Same with Smith (154 & 872). There are many others that took several years to develop. Like: Donald Driver, Reggie Wayne, Wes Welker, Antonio Brayant (5 years), Santana Moss and Vincent Jackson. They all took at least 3 years to get caug

He should have been able to come up with the ball, but it didn't help that the defense blew the play up!
