The Miami Dolphins have terminated the contract of linebacker Reggie Torbor(notes), the team announced. Torbor underwent an unspecified offseason surgical procedure and didn't practice at recent minicamp practices. Torbor was signed by the Cowboys as an unrestricted free agent in March of 2008. Torbor is a former New York Giants 2004 fourth-round draft pick. Follow me on Twitt

You are not going to find a #1 wr in the late teens and early 20's..I think they will address the NT or ILB position with the 1st 2 picks in the draft. If they truly want a #1, they will need to break open the bank and go after brandon marshall who I believe will be a FA this summer.

Moss,Wayne,Ochocinco,Ward,S.Smith,Welker,Housh...last I checked these guys were still pretty damn good nfl wr's even at the age of 31 or older..What would I give? I have no idea, but to say these players are not different makers cause of their age is silly. I didn't even notice that the trade deadline passed when I found this story, sorry bout that.

Steve Smith said he received several text messages from friends around the country about the possibility of him being traded to another team, one of those being the Miami Dolphins, prior to Tuesday's trade deadline. In fact, Smith received so many that he went as far as to contact his agent to see if there was any truth to them. "I heard multiple teams I was going to," Smith said during

I agree with phinsfan that college stats can be misleading...If stats were as important as A&O indicated then grahm harrell would go #1 in the draft followed by michael crabtree!!

Alex Mack could very well be our 1st rd pick...Nah, after thinking about it there is no way we draft a center with our 1st, right?

Roy is beast on defense...This would still be an upgrade with what the phins have at safety. He may not be able to cover in a nickel type package, but the guy is always around the football and makes plays!

Tuesday 2/24, 2:33 PM CT Center Jason Brown could be heavily pursued by the Miami Dolphins to become their starting center, according to the Miami Herald. Our View: Brown would replace Samson Satele at the position. Brown could still re-sign with the Ravens, but the team has until Friday to do so, or he'll become a free agent.

By Edgar Thompson | Tuesday, February 3, 2009, 09:58 AM The Miami Dolphins’ improbable AFC East title and incredible turnaround will come with a price. A season after they capitalized on one of the league’s softest schedules in 2008, the Dolphins will now face the toughest in 2009, according to figures presented by ESPN AFC East blogger Tim Graham. The combined winning percentage
