Consensus mock and ratings....

He has now changed his number one pick from Jason Smith to Stafford. Last week he was guaranteeing that the Lions will not take a QB. LOL.

it is pretty much a consensus now so they are all believing the story that leaked from Stafford's camp.

Kirwin, Charles Davis, Jamie Dukes and Wyche all have us picking a WR. Either Harvin, Britt or Nicks.

Mayock now has dropped Kenny Britt off the top 5 WR's. Brian Robiskie is now ahead of Nicks and Britt.

Max Unger is the top Center. he says Ayers is the best defender in the draft.

Cornerbacks are as follows....Jenkins, Butler then Davis, Smith, Byrd.

Robiskie is said to be the safest WR in the draft because he is the least likely to be a bust. He has great hands...Hagan had terrible hands. Should not even be compared to each other.

If anything, Hagan could be compared to Kenny Britt. Same size and speed....Highly productive in college with concentration problems.

I disagree and stand by my point...

Brian Robiskie = Derek Hagan

Robiskie will be a college assistant at Ohio St. in 3 years. He wont even be in the league. Ok, he has good hands....tell me something else he does good? Nothing. He isnt fast, he isnt strong. He doesnt get open, he cant stretch the field, he cant play against a WR that presses tight at the line.....Malcolm Jenkins ate him up everyday at practice. Robiskie is a *boring* WR who brings nothing special to the field. He is very skinny for 6'3, weighing in *UNDER* 200 pounds.

These are his stats: THEY ARE HORRIBLE:

2008 42 535 12.7 8
2007 55 935 17.0 11
2006 29 383 13.2 5
2005 1 13 13.0 0

STAY AWAY FROM ROBISKIE, BILL!!! STAY AWAY!!!

IF HE CANT PUT UP NUMBERS IN COLLEGE....WHAT WILL HE DO IN THE NFL!!! NOTHING!!!

If there is one prospect I am praying we dont pick, it is Brian Robiskie.

I agree with phinsfan that college stats can be misleading...If stats were as important as A&O indicated then grahm harrell would go #1 in the draft followed by michael crabtree!!

Your stats are wrong, my friend. Below are the WR's during his Jr season, and he had Beockman throwing the ball who was a great passer. Robiskie sucks, bottom line.

5 Dukes, Albert - Junior
9 Hartline, Brian - Sophomore
89 Hummel, Garrett - Freshman
Jordan, Devin - Senior
18 Lisko, David - Junior
18 Lyons, Devon - Junior
86 Potokar, Dan - Sophomore
80 Robiskie, Brian - Junior
15 Ruhl, Kyle - Junior
12 Sanzenbacher, Dane - Freshman
4 Small, Ray - Sophomore
81 Ullery, Brent - Senior
19 Washington, Taurian - Freshman

I wasnt talking about "stats", I was showing him college production. For 2 years he was the go-to-guy and he never was impressive. Almost all his TD's were within 10 yards of the endzone. He has no field stretching ability. His speed sucks, he will not have a high YAC, and he has no seperation ability.

If we had 2 good WR's then he would be a great option for us as a chain-moving WR. But as this point we need a #1 WR!!! NOT A #3 WR!!! HEEELLLLOOOO!!!!!!!!

yeah..I'm not even saying we should take him bit I wouldn't be disappointed in round two if we are so lucky and we can get Sean Smith in 1.

Let me ask you guys....PF2...

We run a base cover 2 with a cover 3 mix correct?

LOL....Ok, I took my chill pill...LOL.

I respect you guys' opinion of him. I guess we just disagree and Im fine with that. Maybe in a few years Robiskie will make me eat crow.

I just think he will be an average WR and not worth a 1st or 2nd round pick.

Ohio St WR's always scare me. They run straight line offense there and it takes their guys years to become good on the NFL level.

Nobody can run a route coming out of that school

Anthony Gonzalez was pretty polished coming out of there. He stepped into Indy's offense immediately. And with Robiskie being the son of an NFL WR coach, you'd have to think he's pretty polished, too, and that's what all the scouting reports say.

Anthony Gonzalez was playing with a HALL OF FAME WR (harrison). A Pro Bowl WR (Wayne). And maybe one of the 3 greatest QB's of all time (Manning).

That helps a bit.

and Robiskie had much better production than Gonzales AND Gonzo was there before they switched to a more run oriented offense with the QB rushing for 600 yards.

Gonzalez was the 3rd WR....not #1 like Robiskie.

Gonzales had Ted Ginn and Santonio Holmes starting over him. He was #3. Thats why his production isnt as high.

We already have an Ohio State WR and he isn't quite lighting it up yet.

Hope that changes, it would be nice to saee us get aq legitimate #1 that can get some separation, it would open up a lot of offense.

Having said all that, I think you'll see more out of Ginn this year than we have.

Wish we could end up with boldin without giving a way the store.
