... chambers, i believe still has some left in the tank. also, as already said, he wont break the bank. and while he may not be a #1 he's definitely in the mix among complimentary wr's... that seems to be all we have is comp. wr, that is why we should also draft Bryant in the 1st. another option would be to draft demarriyus thomas (sp) who broke his foot prior to the combine,. if we could g

im right there with ya'... i would not want to trade ginn for a disgruntled, displaced, prima donna wr. Ginn's speed is something you cannot teach, and can go for 6 anytime he touches the ball (provided he has the blocking/lanes up field)... he's also what, 24? lets wait for this guy to mature into a man, then see his habits. he's definitely not the answer at wr, but then again neithe

with all due respect, are you kidding me? Favre had a bounty on his head, every drop back, hand off, hell, complete/incomplete pass he was getting rocked by the N.O. defense. did you see Favre's post game on NFL Net., he was a bruised and battered man, blood on his forehead and when it came time to leave the podium, he couldn't even bend over for the railing. I hope he comes back next year, a

sad, but i feel the same way. that game showed me that this team (coaches/players) do not deserve to be in the playoffs. to be in the drivers seat, then follow it up with 3 disgusting losses was enough for me to concede the fact my team is not ready for the big stage. last year was great, we won the f'ing division... no one can ever take that away from our team. Pennington had a great year an

Desean Jackson did this past week, turned it into 6... but who's counting, right... seriously, we need to let Ginn do his thing out there... he's too unreliable to start, but he can be a star in the return game

i know there's a lot that can happen between now and then... but what the hell, i think Henne has a 3500 yd season in him for next year. he's got a cannon for an arm, just needs some receiver to throw to.

Let me forewarn you, i know nothing about specifics and i may be entirely wrong in my thinking. However, I agree with Khaz that this is a negotiating tactic... this is union warfare at its best, and the NFL doesn't want to be pushed around anymore. Classic NFLPA v. NFL Is this a case of rich owners unwilling to pay up, or an over demanding union? I tend to side with the latter, the union'

could you imagine what Chad would do if he were throwing to A. Johnson, D Bess, and T Ginn !!! this is why a #1 wr should be our top priority this offseason... its time to unleash the potential of our offense ! (note: i included Ginn because no matter how much you hate him, his breakaway speed is valuable and rare, he is a talented player... Not a #1, but a gamebreaker at ST and a big play th

i agree with your assessment on cody... NT is such a huge need i guess i jumped the gun... there is NO WAY parcells and co. would ever draft an unmotivated player, and definately not in the top rounds. that said, parcells likes his tight ends so i could definately see gresham, but mcclain would be my top choice, but he probably wont last past the top 10.

'In my humble and honest opinion, Chad Henne is better than Matt Ryan, Joe Flacco and all the other young QB's out there.' that's saying a lot... and though i share your optimism, im not ready to make that assertion. i will mention that last night i was on the phone with a friend up in new york. he used to be my neighbor and is very knowledgeable of the game... we've been watching football

the question remains, do you trade the farm for him? are we a few quality f/a (wr, te) and a STUD ilb away from making the next jump? i say do it... send them whoever they want, short of Henne, RW, Long, Smith, and Davis... i feel a Ditka moment coming on, but if need be send draft picks for him too. Hell, i would hope our 1st, 3rd, next years 2nd and Ronnie Brown would do it, throw in Gin

i understand this regime doesn't like dealing picks, but this guy looks like he could be the second coming of Ray Lewis (6'1" 250), hopefully without the baggage/MURDER. Tendency or not, you do what you have to do to get those types of players. 6-4 255+ with an unstoppable motor... it's a Parcells' wet dream come true...

Listening to that game on CBS yesterday was sickening. Living in the area, thank god i could also get the game on QAM, albeit a second or 2 off from my TV... i battled within myself, going back and forth TV v. Radio. But because of the fact the radio is 2 sec ahead of CBS, I listened to that douche bag (Phil Simms) blow his load, spewing his love for anything New England. I grew up in NY, and

I just read a post on another site stating that with his performance this weekend in the SEC Title game, McClain may have just played his way out of our range. Unfortunately, i believe this to be true. Hoping he'd last until the latter part of the 1st rd, i now think he will be possibly a top 15 pick, and (though unlikely) even top 10. Personally, when you see someone with the measurables

How long did it take for Henne to get time under center? Why would you assume any different with a project like White?

the buffalo game was not only a loss pushing us under .500, it was a loss w/in the division. even if we win this Sunday v the patriots, we need help... losing last week told me that we aren't ready to make a run THROUGH the playoffs, not just to it. our remaining schedule is brutal, and dont kill me for saying this but an 8-8 team is not where i want to be. under, okay... over even better.

Chad Henne has as strong an arm i've seen since Marino, pin point accuracy, and does not get rattled in tight situations. Okay, i may have jumped the gun in giving him these assessments, but he has excelled in every point stated above. this is only his 1st year seeing time as starter, i think he's going to be special.

the team is developing pat white into an NFL QB... with only 1 TC, and a handful of games played i don't see how you can really expect a rookie to handle NFL action. Remember White was supposed to be our 3rd QB this yr, behind Pennington, and Henne. Had there been no injury to Penny, he'd of still been 3rd on the depth chart with the reliable Pennington serving as b/u... I think we'll see a d

i see that happening this offseason... we found our qb and CBs of the future. our DL is tailor made with 300-plus lbs monsters across the board, with Solia raising eyebrows with his power and 350+ frame, perfect to man the middle of our defensive line. Don't forget Randy Starks who's been playing great, along with Merling and Langford i only see this unit growing together and getting be

though not the optimal man for the job, Chambers would have been the big game threat needed across from Ginn... it was a mistake not signing him. Chambers/Ginn/Bess ... im hoping we can bring a guy like D Bowe in during the off season, and dont give up on Ginn

It is what it is... and we would just be fueling the fire by arguing that point. Personally, i believe it shows the insecurities of the offended (race car Driver), and the inadequacy of the governing body (the League Officials...)

"Nobody will trade for Ginn. He is still playing under his rookie contract which is high. A top 10 pick's contract." the contract is worth 13 mil, and he's signed for 6 yrs through 2013. that contract doesn't seem too outrageous

regarding the qb being careless, i was waiting for Sanchez to throw a pick the way he would throw the ball downfield regardless of pressure or defense. im surprised he didn't have a turnover, being that he looked very careless handling the football.

I'd like to see Ginn on the receiving end of some kick return reverses and fakes. we've already seen him 'break ankles' of defenders, how about with a spread out defense and 70 yards to field ahead of him... sounds like it could work? that would be huge for his confidence. another thing... this guy can FLY! watching his TD returns yesterday looked like his old OSU highlight reel (which
