That's probably because you, and many others, took him at face value as a new poster.

I knew from the his first post he was a former poster because he acted as if he was part of the community already and responded to posters as if he knew them or had earned his chops here.

That got me thinking as to who it could be. There really were only a handful of candidates...ghotirule, dolfan1, thundergogagn/mia/etc/etc.

When reading his stuff through the prisim of knowing him to be a former poster pretending to be someone else, it wasn't long before I was pretty sure it was Ghotirule. After doing a little research on the IP address I was as certain as I could be. But I couldn't prove it conclusively and he was adamantly denying it and attacking me in the process (further confirming my assessment) so I let it go.

I was never a fan of his original incarnation, and even less so of his most recent one. I really hope he's enjoying whatever identity(s) he's posting under wherever it is and that he stays there, but I doubt we've seen the last of him.
