But don't worry, anyone who got hurt only has a few more days to wait before they get medical treatment....
Seriously, I was amazed to see that Bostonians were relatively well-behaved. The city scrapped plans for a telecast of the game on large screens at the Garden, which p-ed off a lot of fans---but preventing that concentration of fanatics may have done the trick. As a result people just went to their favorite bar to watch--whether it was near the Garden, Back Bay (that's where I was), or a residential neighborhood. All I saw after the game was a few guys running through a reflecting pool and a few beer cans on the ground.,..oh yeah and honking horns. That's a quiet night in Boston.

I was actually remembering you, as the phins.com resident Bruins mega-fan, as I saw some Northeastern U kids run through the reflecting pool at the Christian Science complex. They were remarkably well-behaved.
yup, spent 7 years there college/law school. lived off the C line myself for a few of those. fortuntely those were the years before the Pats got crazy good (some of them they were laughably horrible, like with Scott Zolak), so I never had to deal with the level of obnoxiusness of Pats fans today

Oh you said it. It actually wasn't so bad after the Pats' first championship, but then they began expecting it every year. There is nothing better than listening to Boston Sports Radio the Monday after the Pats crap the bed, which was particularly funny when Parcells was their coach because he wasn't all warm and fuzzy at the pressers.

Of course not. The Mafia keeps everything in line up there
Hockey is fun if your team in your town is in the STanley CUp, other then that, the Game doesnt seem to be what it once was... But you got to understand, the Canadian's have alot of resentment towards the US. The one things Canadians and other countries hang there HAT on is they either have to dominate us in Hockey or Soccer...
If outside countries lose on a big stage to the US in either of these 2 sports, expect the riots and outrage... Canadians losing to Americans in hockey, is just about as bad as it gets for a Canadian...It is kind of like Murphy's LAW.....
Trust me my inlaws are CZECH. As long as they beat us in Hockey they can be proud, if the USA beats them in Hockey expect riots.. There would be in my house anyways...lol. Czech beats us recently in the WOrld Championships about a month ago, I told my inlaws it really didnt count because all of th best players were in the NHL playoffs... They still havent talk to me since I said that...lol
I agree I havent been into or to a Hockey match or game since Pavel Bure scored a Hat Trick for the Panthers probably more then a decade ago...

Hey I am cool with a happy fan being excited about his team, as long as they dont compete against the Dolphins...
But this statement on a Football board dedicated to the Dolphins might be pushing it a bit...lol...
You are lucky the Regime of PHINS Trifecta all resides in New England so you get the pass on the post...lol Cheers COnratulations on your win, must have been exciting to share that experience with your son! I hope to do that with the Dolphins one day, although my Dad is still waiting to share it with me as well..
that video is awesome best part is the guy does it while talking on the phone ..too funny
hey crowder wasnt trying to rile the fan base with my comment just dont think hockey gets the respect its due the intesity is thru the roof in the playoffs...and for the record am raising my son as a dolphin fan in new england which aint easy now days

NO, no no I specifically meant that YOU were the resident mega fan, not me. I barely follow hockey at all, native Miamian that I am. I've got nothing against it, I'm glad the B's won, I just don't follow the sport as closely as I should/could.
