Looks like he is on his way out. He wont be able to demand much money on the market. But he does bring an excellent game of change of pace. Also, he is a great punt returner?
I would take a fly on him for sure. What about you?
I wouldn't want to replace an injury-prone RB with another injury-prone RB, especially if he requires a lot of money.....give the dolphins employees back their pay cuts and spend less on a free agent RB.
The Reggie Bush 2011 model is greatly inferior to the 2005 model..but I know it's hard to forget how fast and quick he was. The key word however is "was".
EEsti is right, he just an -aint now...
D Williams is also another injury risk. No way would I give him a big contract. Played 16 games once and missed 10 games last year.....one year wonder playing behind a dominant line.
For Bush, it all depends on the market value. Is he expecting some team to give him a deal that pays him like the star he was supposed to become? Or is he accepting the fact that he is nothing more than a backup RB and return specialist? And one who has had numerous injury issues?
well that's never the point. assuming we go back to a salary cap, which we will, every $ spent on one player is a dollar we can't spend on another. so obviously it wouldn't make sense to overpay for bush, given what he brings to the table now
If he is such a matchup nightmare why has he never done anything? Why is he being replaced? He was a matchup nightmare in college but not since with the exception of a few games.
4 return tds in 5 years and his last one was three years ago.
29 tds for 5.8 avg per year....not exactly great.
He is a good punt returner but I give the comparison to Ginn bc he was an overdrafted return man.
His yardage numbers stink and he was considered a flop for being picked so high. He has not had much impact as a RB.
I don't hate the guy but I wouldn't go out of my way to get him either.
He had some good receiving numbers but he had one of the best qbs in the league throwing to him and thats all they do is throw it. He won't even touch those kind of numbers in Miami.
If Sproles is that much cheaper then I'd rather have him, but Bush has to be in the picture because he fits the type of back we need. I wouldn't overpay to get him though.

I agree, he is worth a shot if his price stays reasonable, nowhere near the 11 million the Saints would have to pay him. ALong with a first rb RB in Ingrahm cost. As well as Piere Thomas and Chris Ivory being solid RB's on the team, Reggie is getting cut. Pete Carroll, might over pay for him though
Ohhhhhhhh plzzzzzzz!
I'm with eesti completely on this one.
Another scrapbook player like Carson Palmer.
Nothing left but "memories" of when they were special.
