Is there any chance that Scott Linehan is available, or could be made available? He was damn effective when he was here, and he did it with Gus Frerotte, a less-than-stellar QB.

How do you do that after the fall-out in Denver with Nolan and Marshall?

After showing he has no idea how relationships work in this league, I can see Ross actually doing this and the saying "Ooops, Rookie mistake number 2!!"

you can't get an OC under contract to make a lateral move, it would need to be a promotion. anyway why would he want to leave the lions to come here? the lions O has much more upside

Ross's problem is he didnt handle the press properly, and address these issues that the press were taking and running with and anonymous reports were the basis for stories that compunded on each other.... I think at first, he just liked the press surrounding him and his team, come to think of it, I still think he likes it....He likes being a big shot, that is apparent... Huizenga just liked makng money and hid from the press...

I agree, that hopefully Ross, stays out of the limelight,,,,but I doubt it... From his preseason SUperbowl predictions, to the orange carpet, club liv and tacky Celeb owners and cheesy td song...FIns UP...
Just in case these morons dont realize, Fins, that are refered to in that song, are Sharks, not Dolphins, And Dolphins and Sharks are pretty much enemies of each other in the ocean...SO FIns UP and the TD song, pretty much dont make sense, Just like alot of what has been going on, This whole cr*p wasnt thought out very well....

I agree on Linehan A&O, he is defintely one of the best play callers we have had here since SHula... not sure it will happen, but I like the idea

Phinsfan,
I agree I would be ok, with all the other BS, if he did the important stuff right, But I have yet to see the guy do anything right.... Have you?
But when his Celebrity chasing takes priority to building a successful organization around him, we have problems... When his spotlight chasing causes the gaff, that it did last week, we have problems... Instead of building the first stadium with a nightclub and orange carpet celebrities, how about buidling the first team to win an AFC championship in Miami since Shula....
I think his priorities are all screwed up. and it is apparent by his actions...
I will root for him, but the guy needs to give me a reason to root for him....
I would have been more impressed with the guy had he given people like Marino, Shula,, etc part ownership, not Marc ANthony, THe WIlliams sisters, and Fergie.... Come on... THe guys is lost so far IMO...

The Bleacher Report is not a credible source.

Gentlemen, this thread isn't about Ross. There are plenty of other threads that address that issue. Please, can we get back to Linehan? Is there a way to get him? Could we make him Assistant Head Coach or something?
