These drafts are no better than wanny's drafts and i hated wanny.

Davone bess great free agent pick up

most of the starters on offense and defense are made up of
free agents, dallas cowboys rejects and about 6 of there draft
picks.

only one draft pick from this regime on offense starting.
that would be jake long.O yea John jerry when he is
not getting beat out by Pat mcquistan.

11 guys starting on Offense and only two draft picks of theirs
starting, that is pathetic.

Sparano and Ireland need to be gone.

Phillip merling IMO is not a bust because i dont consider a player who has been injured a bust.

I consider a player who just doesnt have the ability to play in the NFL a bust.

Merling has shown he can play in the NFL.

JMHO.

He has the ablilty and has been given a chance, yet has failed. What do you call that? The guy has been here 3yrs and has never broken the starting line up. Yea, he may have the ability but all i have ever seen
from him was laziness. My definition of laziness is bust.

hey dolphaholic I don't need to be educated on a 7th round pick being a bust , i already no the difference, i was just making a stated. It's awful funny that you didn't point out any of the other picks that were clearly bust picks.

And he showed a spark when he played in presseason. I would like to see him an entire season healthy. I think he can contribute big time.

IMO if he can come back next year and play like i think he can, we will have one of the best DLs in the NFL.

We already do withpout him. Soliai has take his game to the next level he a above run stuffer. The wake is a beast rushing the passer....Randy starks is solid and so is lankford. Misi coming along just great.

We just need another pass rushing specialist LB from the other side and were set on D.

And who can forget darnsbi...Quietly a pro bowl player.

Both the 2009 & 2010 drafts can't be truly evaluated yet and it's just foolish to try. The 3 bad early picks from this regime is obviously White, Turner and Henne (and it could be argued with better coaching Henne would of panned out, but that's neither here nor there, he's a bust). If you follow Phinsfan2's research at the top of the page, you will see for every position the "bust"rate is right 50% and thats just the 1st round let alone taking it all the way to the 7th. This regime is probably right around slightly above average so far in the draft, no better, no worse.

Aqua&Orange i'm glad you don't analyze draft's either are this team would be 7-9 or 4-12 every year with your Analogies.

LOL....you are probably right, but hey, atleast I am man enough to admit it.

If I was good, I would be working in the league, not serving in the military.

NOT a bust. He's injured right now. He was a beast when he played.

Give him another year. O-Linemen don't always blossom as rookies.

> 4 A.J. Edds Iowa /injured possible bust
He looked good until he got hurt. Too early to say.

He's been playing the nickel. For a rookie with only a few games under his belt he's done pretty well.

> 5 Reshad Jones Georgia /ok special teams player
He looked great when he got a chance to play. This kid is a future starter.

Outstanding CB. Catching isn't a pre-requisite of playing CB. It's likely he didn't practice catching much in college. He just needs to work on it.

NOT a bust. Playing well.

Could still be a serviceable backup.

This guy shouldn't have been cut. He'd still be on our team if they'd kept him.

Decent backup.

As for the rest. I'm not sure how you can classify a 7th rounder a wasted pick. How many 7th rounders EVER make a team?

Analyzing a draft less than 3 years later = Obvious Joke Topic
