Miami Dolphins' home record of 1-7 is worst in the league this season


At least it can't get worse.


And what a fan posted below the article, which could sum up the way us phins fans think:

The Dolphins haven't fielded a good team in 25 years - longer. I don't know what the problem is, but they perpetually look terrible. I don't even watch their games. I would even watch bowling instead of a Dolphin's game.

You guys are close, but it wasn't Shula selling his soul...it was the damn curse of the WFL. The curse of the WFL is what is haunting us.

But don't worry, the curse will be lifted eventually. It only took the Boston Red Sox something like 86 years to get over the curse of the Bambino.

If thats the case (86 years) then I guess my kid has a chance of seeing us win a superbowel in his lifetime, definately not me.

Dumbest thing I ever read. I for one am glad we had some glory years, and truth is we had many after that season.

Curse was when they pushed Shula and Marino out, and we haven't gotten back since.

Yep, I've got to start taking care of myself. I'm 34, but I figure I going to have to live until 70 to see us in the superbowl.

We all can look back to those glory years of the 70's and 80's when we were exciting.

No we can just look forward to the fist pump of field goals.

Liar? Idiot I'm a dolphins fan, just a frustrated one. Have you not read my posts on this. A brain is not in your future. Trust me it would be easier for me if I was a pats fan, I'd be enjoying them winning year after year unlike this train wreck.

I'll take it even further than that. I have only read ONE post from you that wasn't about how much Miami sucks or about how the Pats are soooo great. And it was an article about a Dolphin DYING.

Just give it up man. You are one of two things.
1)A Miami fan that has jumped ship because he see's that right now the grass is greener on the other side, and has jumped onto the bandwagon that came by or,

2)Just plain and simple not a Miami fan to begin with.

Which is it? Surely you don't expect us to believe that you aren't enamored with the Patriots, what with all the love you have been spewing week in and week out on this board? Do you really think I believe for one second that you are a fan of the Miami Dolphins when you refer to this team as "garbage" and "a joke" on a consistent basis? I must admit, I'm impressed with the pats organization. Look, they don't really have big names on there team, they make do with what's given and they find a way to win. We used to be like this and now we just can't right this @#$%& ship. There is not much to say good about this team. I'd say the cheerleaders are hot, and Ross being the second richest owner in the NFL there is not much going on here. Am I correct in my assumptions here? Don't you wish we were like the pats organization? Be honest, at least with yourself man.

Do I wish Miami was like the Patriots organization? Absolutely not. Know why? Because they are proven CHEATERS. Their players have been caught doping year after year, and their coaching staff isn't any better with the crap they do to win games.

Just quoting this for posterity. More evidence that you're a bandwagon jumping troll this board could do better without.

Don't mean to get in the middle of this pissing match. I am phin fan through and through anybody here knows that; but I am not blind and I am not a homer. Some people make excuses all day long and say how good this guy is or that guy is based on a game or a play. I stand by my principle that a good player is consistant and a great player changes games not once but thoughout his career.

As for NE I am impressed with that franchise. Year in and Year out they set the standard for all teams to follow. They don't make the SB every year but they are in the conversation every year. That is very hard to do. When was the last time the phins and SB were in the same converstion?
