Ugh...I just threw up in my mouth.

Sparano, you were able to fix the defense in one year with Nolan and a cast of new players. I get that you are a gentleman and don't want to call out your coach & friend, but jeez. He's going to be gone in 2 games...why not now? (fire him).

I've heard this speech by senior general officers about a commander and the great job he's done and then the change of command ceremony follows. The commander wasn't being reassigned but fired from his position to go on to a position of obscurity. I've seen it. I've been there and been part of it. In this case, it could be Sparano getting reading to give Henning his walking papers. Watch for Dees the CEO to say kind words about Sparano too just before he announces a future head coaching change. Maybe I'm right, maybe I'm not. We shall see in the next two months.

Philosophically, I wonder whether Sparano doesn't trust Henne or if it's mostly just Henning who doesn't. It's utterly clear that Henning doesn't.

If Sparano just doesn't trust Henne at all, then he should (if he remains our coach) just go ahead and give up on him now or after the season or whatever. Seriously, if he just can't bring himself to trust him, then forget it.

However, if he has a shred of trust in the guy, then he should let Henning go right now and let SOMETHING happen with Henne and someone else (Lee?) for now.

I personally believe that Sparano does have that shred of trust in Henne left, but that he will irrationally keep Henning in charge of the offense for our last two lame duck games.

Sadly I'm with you.

After reading this idiot defend Henning, I'm firmly in the "clean house" camp.

thumbs up thank you for seeing I'm for the future. I never meant to put the phins down, but I truly want them to get crushed to show Ross how far we need to come, the better these next 2 teams kick our ass, the better the house cleaning and time for the Ross era to begin. Let's see if we can right the ship. Ohh by the way, I'm also not stupid, my money is going on the lions and the pats, I might as well profit from this mess.
