No way. Why?

I would totally be lost for words if this happened.

A real QB, that makes real competition is what is needed.

No disrespect at all towards Tebow, but I am sure that no player on our team wants a circumcision, so I see no need for him coming here.

Did you read that on bleacher report? There is an article like that for pretty much every team that needs a QB.

Yes have you ever seen Tebow play. Guy was a great college QB in the spread option offense. He is not a pro style QB.

Tim Tebow is gonna be yet another bust in the NFL..

He will get pounded in his first game if he thinks he can run those little runs he attemped in college.

This is not college this is the NFL.

Tim Tebow will never make it in this league.

Oh God...WHAT??? I say he's more "chicken dinner" than "winner winner". Sure, he has heart, but so did Doug Flutie. Tebow will never be any better than that.

Tebow can scrap out a career as a backup.

I wouldn't even be against him being on our roster as a backup, or Jim Jensen style of receiver. but NOT as our starter!

For once we agree. But I'm not sure it's what Miami needs.

I really think we forget the QB for now and go for big upgrade in the OL.

The real ? is, is Denver ever gonna let this guy play a full game? They canned McDaniels so what else do they got to lose in trying out Experiment #2?

The same applies to you. what do you know? Nothing.

We are simply guessing. And i choose to guess he is gonna stink in the nfl.

All he had going for him in college was that wildcat type run which will not work in the NFL...Especially by a QB.

Samsam, I think you and others are wrong about Tebow. He has an accurate and good arm. I see another Big Ben in the making. What he must improve on is his release.
That is exactly what he has been working on this whole season. That is the biggest reason he has not played. Although Orton has a lot to do with it.

No one knows about Tebow. And I mean NO ONE. We have not seen him play at the NFL level except for a few plays that mean nothing.

Put him in the right system with the right coach and he just might become another Big Ben.

Why do I say this? Because he is smart, dedicated, very competitive, and will do anything to win. And I don't think he carries a knife with him.

There you go! Right "system", right coach. Tebow will only be successful as a system QB. Ask him to improvise and he'll fall flat on his face. He can't just run up the gut like he did in college. Tebow is NOT Big Ben. Sure Pitt has good players around BB, but look at Pitt's last Superbowl. BB proved that, even under pressure, even when he has to improvise, he can complete the play. I don't see Tebow doing that. I just don't.

Can't improvise? That's what he did in college. System QB? Yup, just like darn near every QB out there.
Don't see Tebow doing that? My point exactly. You can't tell what kind of NFL player a QB will be until he plays in the NFL. Brady is a good example of this. How many teams passed him by?
Now don't get flustered I'm not compairing Tebow to Brady.

Point is, this "knock" on Tebow is unjustified and only opinion at this stage.

I seriously doubt he will become anything like ben....But i respect your opinion.....We will see how it develops.

I have nothing against the kid. As a matter of fact i wish him the best. Simply im stating my opinion from what ive seen.

Ive seen it way too many times a QB that could scramble in college and get away with it because its a slower game or less physical game.

I dont think he can get away with it in the pros.I dont think he has the arm . Ive seen him play and he hasn't impressed me at all. All he did was that little run which he could get away in college.

Example...and i forget names.......that QB we were supossed to pick instead of ginn...brady quinn impressed the hell out of me in college........I saw a couple games...I wanted us to pick the kid just like many here.....And he has flat out Stunk in the pros..

excuse my mixed language...gotta translate for latin to english.grinning smiley

PS. Again i wish him the best....But to have someone post he will be the next coming of dan marino is ridiculous

Tebow's way of improvising in college was to run straight ahead. That just won't cut it in the NFL. If he can't bail the team out with a clutch pass, he can't play in the NFL.

He was such a great talent evaluator that he traded Peyton Hillis away. I said it earlier and I will say it again Tebow will not be a successful QB in the NFL. He was a great player in college and is a truly good person, but he is not an NFL QB.

This is a good point. McDaniels is getting a bad rapp about Hillis. When he traded for Hillis for Quinn, he only had Orton and Simms as QBs. Simms wasn't going to work out so the Quinn trade made sense. There was no guarrantee that Tebow would be available in the draft and he wanted a vet as backup. Not a dumb move.
The Tebow move is questionable as no one knows how he will pan out but I agree that McDaniels has proven that he can develope a QB and work with one as OC.

Just curious, what makes you such and expert in talent evaluation?

I at least like to see a guy play before making such a definite statement.
Remember, Cassell wasn't even a starter in college. Many here said he would never make it in KC. He was a "system" QB. Well guess what?
