Oh, so how the quarterback LOOKS is important now?? I hope the scouts are aware of this.
Andrew Luck's hair is pretty short, plus he's got some pretty sizeable ears -- well, so much for that.

I disagree with you completley on this. The running game was good yesterday. Maybe not great, but much better. The D played great, only giving up 10 points and giving the ball back to the offense consistently.
Henne missed and kept missing. Poor decision on one pick and under threw a wide open Hartline on the fly that would have scored a sure TD but ended up another pick.
Face it he flat out sucked! Not the coaches, not the play calling for the most part, Henne sucked!

Take that back. If the D played "great" then Nolan Carroll intercepts that pass and it's game over and today we are talking about how we are still in the playoff hunt.
Yesterday's performance + the circumstance has led me to the conclusion that there needs to be truly viable competition for starting QB in 2011. And this competition should include 2 players who have a legitimate shot at being the solution to our QB issues for the next 5 years.
It wasn't just his performance yesterday (which was very, very bad). The circumstance is that we're no longer really in contention for the playoffs, in reality. Now, that pressure is essentially off and we can't evaluate his performance down the stretch the same way we could have with that 'carrot' out there. Winning the last 4 in a row will make me feel good if he plays well, but it won't answer the 'can he get us there' question. Arguably, this CLE game answered it as much as 4 great wins in a row could. That bothers me more than how badly he played - it's that we're in 1/4 of the season where we're essentially lame ducks.

Didnt the browns gave the jets a hell of a game the other day and it took a great play from your main man sanches for the $hits to win the game?

I am tired of the excuses we should of whooped the Browns ass if we had a half way decent QB. If you guys can't see that he is not the answer and is the problem then their is nothing more to say. Give us any QB that can read defenses and we would of won by 2 td's yesterday.

We could make those excuses early on, but NOT in this game. Henne stunk it up plane and simple. I see very little improvement in him this year.
He is not a game maker at least not at this time. Will he ever be? I'm not so optimistic.
