If it wasn't for Fans like me there would be no Miami Dolphins....
The way they have played over the last decade, might not be a bad thing. They are as I call a "farm team" to develop talent and then trade that talent away when they get good and marketable. Wes welker comes to mind.
They accused you of having a "loser's mentality" when in truth ou have a "traitor's" mentality if you were not a Patsie's fan all along. And BTW Wes Welker was a dependable receiver for us and was doing the same thing for us that he is now doing for New England LONG before we traded him.

Go root for your Pats.... change your name to PatswanaB
i am too but no matter how crappy I feel about the team I'd never talk up the pats and say I should root for them. Or start threads hoping we lose the rest of our games

I live near Cincinnati and we travel to a Dolphins game every year and one away game. It is frustrating to pay for Direct Tv, tickets to games, plane tickets and all others that go with it, but I still do it. I am hard core and that is why this sucks so bad when they stink it up.
I used have season tickets when I lived in jupiter Florida. Back in the marino years. That was fun football, not what we have now. I won't pay to go to any of these games now until we get rid of the regime that's in there and get rid of the celebrity BS

RESPONSE: Psalm, you and I have had our differences but you must see now that Dolfan1 is the every bit the Patriots fan that everyone accused WeLead of being.
so dolphan you really think that this team going on a 5 game skid to finish the season is worth a few rungs higher in the draft despite what it would do to the team phsyche..really?you really think that the number 7 choice in the draft is worth turning a medicore team thats tryign to climb the mountain to the crap 6-10 teamis going to help things...i just dont get it.. i can see taking solace in a crap finish by saying we get a higher draft choice but i just dont see going out liek that helping things unless you have a crystal ball and can see that the second coming of marino is going to be waiting for u s at that pick

RESPONSE: Season is over? Hell, the Jets and the Pats are 9-2, tomorrow one will be 9-3 with 4 games left to play. A total breakdown and that team could be 9-7. The other team could lose 4 games and be 10-6.
If we win the rest of our games, we could be 10-6. So even the division title is not a mathematical impossibility.
As far as the Wild card goes, out of Pitt and Balt there is a slim possibility that Balt could be eliminated by losing subsequent games. Even assuming we have to surrender a wild card to either the Jets or Pats, then if Balt continues losing, we could get the second wild card.
the season is over. just stop this playoffs nonsense. and man, if we actually made the playoffs, another 62-7 beating is in store. you need to move past stage 1 denial if you want the healing to begin.
I'm not wishing or hoping for losses...but with the way we have been playing on offense lately (Oakland excepted) I don't think we have a prayer of beating The Jets or the Pats. I also don't think we'll beat Detroit and we may not even be able to pull out a win against Buffalo.
look at this team, then look at Bal and Pitt last night.
This team is not playoff material. It's just not. They couldn't beat the Browns at home. They couldn't score on the Bears at home. They have beaten only horrible teams, and except for OAK last weeek, only beaten them barely.
It's not worth wasting energy to hope that a million teams crap the bed so we can back into the playoffs and get smoked 62-7. I am still rooting for us each Sunday to win, but I am a realistic.
