Sure looks like we try to force the ball to Marshall. But, can he be kept happy if you only throw him the ball when coverage dictates he should get it?

Marshall looks downright sub-par and what's with the YAC?? Wasn't that supposed to be his strong suit? Add in the stupid penalties and he's just plain not worth the big contract that he got.
OK, somewhat of a meaningless stat since obviously they're thrown to in different situations, but:
Yards/target
Hartline: 8.9
Fasano: 8.7
Bess: 7.6
Marshall: 6.9
I guess you could go ahead and make a receiver "rating" for that matter, penalizing for drops, interceptions, etc.. But it doesn't take account of how they were covered. (Or how they WOULD be covered if Marshall weren't on the field...)
Hah, you could have drafted Davone Bess over Marshall in your fantasy draft and gotten more points. Everyone at your draft would have thought you were smokin the funny stuff though
I think they need to run the offense as they did last week, once the running game is productive and Bess, Hartline, Fasano are getting open, making plays, the game will open up for Brandon and come to him. Forcing the ball to Brandon, has been uproductive for the teams as well as Marshall, last week was a good model of how to make the offense successfull. Then mixing in some marshall.
