When the ball is thrown to: Davone Bess- 72.7% completion percentage, 4.7 yards after catch, 3 TD, 4 drops, 2 INT Brian Hartline- 67.2% completion percentage, 5.0 YAC, 1 TD, 3 drops, 3 INT Brandon Marshall- 63.0% completion percentage, 2.9 YAC, 1 TD, 8 drops, 6 INT, 1 fumble Anthony Fasano- 65.1% completion percentage, 6.2 YAC, 3 TD, 1 INT, 2 drops Sure looks like we try to force the ball to Marshall. Date: December 02, 2010 09:02AM OK, somewhat of a meaningless stat since obviously they're thrown to in different situations, but:
Yards/target Hartline: 8.9 Fasano: 8.7 Bess: 7.6 Marshall: 6.9 I guess you could go ahead and make a receiver "rating" for that matter, penalizing for drops, interceptions, etc.. But it doesn't take account of how they were covered. (Or how they WOULD be covered if Marshall weren't on the field...) Re: Receiving Stats Thru 11 Games

Date: December 02, 2010 02:25PM I think they need to run the offense as they did last week, once the running game is productive and Bess, Hartline, Fasano are getting open, making plays, the game will open up for Brandon and come to him. Forcing the ball to Brandon, has been uproductive for the teams as well as Marshall, last week was a good model of how to make the offense successfull. Then mixing in some marshall. 67.8% complete, 5.0 YAC, 10 TD, 8 drops, 4 INT Brandon Marshall in 2008 58.8% complete, 4.2 YAC, 6 TD, 16 drops, 7 INT, 3 fumbles 2009 looks fine. But, the 2010 and 2008 numbers kind of make you wonder if he's really worth the trouble. Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum.
