well isn't that just outstanding the game wasn't aired in my area so all i had to go on was the sirius broadcast but it sounded like a huge crap call
"It's been fun to get the reaction of visiting coaches to the color of their locker room. Most don't notice it, but those that do are in trouble. . . . When I talk to an opposing coach before a game and he mentions the pink walls, I know I've got him. I can't recall a coach who has stirred up a fuss about the color and then beat us.” Hayden Fry
It was a huge crap call. They did anything they could to give that to Pittsburg - including ignoring the fact that 4 Dolphins fell on the ball and then a dolphin came up with the ball.
How do you let a ref from Pittsburgh officiate a Steeler game!!!
I'd like to review how many Steeler games this dork has reffed before. AND....out of those games, how many have the Steelers won, and if there were any other contrversial calls.
This is obviously quite a FIX...if you get my drift....
Has anyone ever seen the ball not given to someone that comes out of the pile with it? Been watching football for 40 years and can't ever recall seeing that call
About 5 years ago an organization that I am involved with had a referee ,I cannot remember his name but he was the guy who threw the flag and hit the Brown lineman in the eye, come and speak to our club about being an NFL official. It was very interesting on how and why they do things, I have been an NFL fan for years and did not notice all of what they did and why, anyways at the time he lived in Charlotte and worked for a company that was a large supporter of the Panthers. He told us about how they schedule the games and such but he told us that he did not officiate any of the Panthers games for two reasons, one because he was from Charoltte and two because of the company he worked for. I assumed that this was a NFL rule but I guess that is not the case. I just don't understand why the NFL would allow a referee from the town a team is from officiate that game.
The blatant favoritism and/or Refs tweaking game outcomes in the NFL is as obvious as the Grand Canyon when you fall into it out of a 747 at 38-thousand feet without a parachute and only your bath robe on...
