Oh my fickly dolphans...

I remember when cleo lemons was the starter and everyone was screaming give me beck beer!!! i want beck in now! even though they have never watched a single BYU game (I wonder how that turned out). THen came penni and he got hurt and everyone wanted us to play henni so bad that they wanted us to stop taking him out for the wild cat (who remebers that)... waa waaaah "how can you develop a QB if you keep taking henni out of the game." Then brown got hurt and everyone was happy even though henni could not get it done for us down the stretch of the season. Now people want penni back, come on make up your minds, henni is the starter live with it...

And I dont remember seeing people calling for henni's job or calling him robotic in the middle of the season last year... We will live or die with henni get over it. And if he gets hurt early enough we will have a better shot at making the playoffs with penni.

I see all this crying about Henne, and the only complaint that I can figure these people have is that Henne didn't put the team on his back and won games despite huge letdowns by our special teams.

The whiners all overlook that Pennington would not have won the games against the Jets and Pats either. And Thigpen? Seriously?

It is tough to find a QB with only 17 game experience that can carry a team from being put into the hole that our special teams dug. But this is what people want. They have to learn to live with what they got, which is a good, young arm.

I don't see Dan Marino on this squad anymore.

I think we'll be fine with Henne.

Let's face it, football fans are idiots. Remember when people wanted Shula to make SCOTT MITCHELL the starter? Yeah.

Mitchell was a decent backup. It's so comforting that we can joke about that now, though. Back when we had Lemon/Beck or Harrington/Culpepper I'd have killed for Scott Mitchell.

They're not idiots. They(We!) just have the "I want it Now!" mentality that pervades society as a whole.

"Back when we had Lemon/Beck or Harrington/Culpepper I'd have killed for Scott Mitchell."
Obviously, you're not from Seattle...

I don't get it. Mitchell never played in Seattle. He took Detroit to the playoffs twice, though.

When Lemon was sitting everybody wanted Lemonaide, well they got it. Then they wanted Beck Bear well they got that too ( it was stale although I believe the kid never got a real chance ) When Mitchell had a few good games people wanted Mitchell. When Penni got hurt they were happy about Henne coming in. Now some want Thigpen while others want Penni.

I say we give Marino one more year with this squad......Why not look at Farve

Beck fumble the football right at the moment the center snapped it to him...The opposing team didnt even have to put pressure on him. It was like he was terrified of getting hit and panicked and his hands got greasy all of a sudden...
