I really hate to say it because I really like him, and have been pulling for him, but I'm seeing a lot of issues that cause me to doubt his ability.
He's lived off last years the "wildcat" success long enough. Teams have totally caught up to it and even run it better than us now.
Needs to let it go, it is turning into a drive killer.
For a guy that has stressed the importance of special teams since he got here, his STs have progressively gotten worse, to the point of losing games for him.
The ability to make game time adjustments seems to elude him.
Clock management still seams to challenge him.
I'm really pulling for Sparano to be able to get on top of these problems, and get this team looking more prepared to play and compete.
Two weeks to figure it out, or my doubts will linger.
I really wanted to like the guy too. Maybe it's just because I'm such a Sopranos fan and I like phoenetic jokes. Right now, he doesn't look like the answer. Right now, a time machine set for the Summer od '72 looks like the answer.
