RESPONSE: Do you know the difference between the two words, need and position?

It's obvious from what I've read here that you're not going to accept the fact that what you believe about our linebacker situation will ever be changed. You simply don't understand the fundamental concept of how a roster is structured. Either that or you actually do, and are just using a false point to back up a personal opinion. Either way, I'm done trying to explain simple fundamental football. Go look it up on Wikipedia, you might find yourself learning something, judging from what I've read in previous posts.

The main reason we lost the majority of games last year is we gave up big plays on defense. There are stats to prove that everywhere. We had Ronnie and Ricky and lost what the first 3, 4 games last year with both of them with fresh legs. We didnt lose because those guys played bad we lost because our defense end of story.
I think you will be happy that with Marshall now on our team, the running game should open up tremedously, it is hard to stack the box when you have to tackle Brandon Marshall in the secondary. I think the Brandon Marshall signing was the best move we could have ever made for the running game.
A few extra yards on offense doesnt make up for giving up 60 plus yard plays on defense conssitently. You obviously believe the biggest pick that would have improved our team in the draft is drafting Best, I respectfully disagree, and would see that pick as a luxury pick not a needs or best available.
