can someone explain why he is projected to go 15 or lower, and is not our #1 target? He was crazy productive in a 4 year career against big time talent in Mich, and then proved his productivity was no fluke by winning mvp of the sr bowl. usually if a player like that is not a top 10 pick there must be a problem with his size/speed/strngth, or character, but his measurables were totally solid and he is a bring it every down guy with no character issues.
he seems to fit the exact bill of a parcells pick-- 4 year starter at a big school, and productive. I just don't understand why he is not being talked about for our pick, and usually not even in the top 20
Probably nothing, except that the draftniks say he isn't "good value" at that spot, whatever that means. If he is productive, who cares where we took him?
berkeley i completely agree with you. Kindle has some off the feild issues and grahman is a beast. I also say that michigan products have produced well for us. Grahman would be a much better pick if we would go OLB
If he were 2 inches taller (he's 6'1) , he would be rated higher...kind of stupid since he weighs 268 lbs. Anyone ever heard of Dwight Freeney? 6'1 268 lbs...except he ran a 4.48 40
BG ran a 4.67 but tweaked his hammy in the process. He says he will run a 4.5 at pro day...so his stock will climb.
probably has something to do with a position swith to OLB from DE. not sure if he worked at OLB at the senior bowl or not. once teams bring him in and have a chance to see him do some LB drills that may change his draft status. To small to play DE in a 3/4
