Nice vids Mike. Ok, so this guy can smash.....but can he cover? That is where our weakness was last year. Gibril could tackle....but he could not cover. Is this an actual pass coverage upgrade?
Hoping they get it done today. We need to focus on other needs, and this would be a nice upgrade over a position we paid for last year and got a lemon.
My question with Wilson is was it him or the DC schema?
Bottom line I guess it doesn't matter anymore. as both are now gone.
Guys this guy is legit. he could be missing a leg and a liver and would still be better than Wilson. Maybe this time we wont have to hold our breaths every time the ball goes deep. Lets hope this deal gets done and we see him and Dansby make this one of the top defenses.
I know I keep repeating myself but I really l like Ryan Clark.I was listening to NFL radio today and Peter King was raving about the guy. saying he was one of if not the smartest DB in the game. talking about how he is the qb of the steelers secondary. long story short I haven't heard anyone say it would be a bad move
Excuses are tools of the incompetent...those who specialize in them rarely specialize in anythine else

ha, cute. They are paying him big money! He's starting
My son is a BIG Steeler fan (I know...how did that happen) and he is not happy at all. They got Ryan from Washington when the Skins drafted Laron Landry to team with Sean Taylor. The Steelers had just lost Chris Hope to the Titans and my son said that the Steelers backfield did not miss a beat with Ryan Clark back there. I also read a story that painted Clark as a thoughtful person, he was concerned because he had built up such a great relationship with Sean Taylor and he was concerned going to Pitt. But he teamed with Polamalu and was very pleased with their relationship. That and Peter King's assessment of his backfield QB talents will do the Phins good as I think they have 2 young guys there that could shine in the future (Clemons & Culver) and maybe he can help mentor them the way I have seen Pennington mentor Henne.

True, and the "Welcome to Miami" could have just meant he bought a vacation home there with his signing bonus money.
