He has Ryan Matthews #2 and MCcoy ahead of Suh? Only time will tell
I would like to see us go:
1. McClain, Paul, Morgan, Hughes or Dunlap
2. Best or Gerhart
3. Demaryius Thomas, Jordan Shipley or Mardy Gilyard
4. Eric Norword, Pat Angerer, Micah Johnson, Joe Pawalek, Boo Robinson
5. Dennis Pitta, Anteraun Verner
6. Barry Church & Tony Moeki Chris Scott or Kyle Collaway
7. Kelton Tindal, Andre Roberts (Eddie Royal/Johny Knox) , or Naaman Roosevelt
A&O be nice to our boy Ryan Matthews. Us central cali people dont like down talk about Ryan. He is the Best RB of all time, and should actually be our 1st pick ! LOL
I am just kidding for those that cant hear sarcasm.
I really hope we don't spend any high draft picks on RB's. It just isn't a smart move considering the strength of our RB core versus the weaknesses of our other areas, like NT/LB/FS.
Odenn, I do not consider our running back corps a strength. As I have often pointed out, Ricky is old and Ronnie was out for his second season with an injury. The backups are all gumbys.
I'll bet next year, if we have no running game at all and get pounded like a gun, some expert will say (and most of the people on this board will agree) "Hey, Helloooooo, what part of what happened last year that the Dolphins did not get????"
Again, I don't like gambling on picking linebackers.
HOW MANY PEOPLE REMEMBER ERIC KUMEROW?
I'm a little more confident about offensive linemen and even more confident about defensive linemen.
I think that running backs, quarterbacks, wide receivers, kickers, are pretty much what you see in college but the other positions are a crap shoot.
The only other positions where college performance, in my opinion, is even a poorer predictor of pro performance than linebackers are defensive secondary persons. The one great exception was Neon Deon.
I think that this running back class is garbage... spiller is inconsistent, matthews is ok, and best cant take the pounding. I would stay away from backs this year unless you can spend late round money on them. If you want a back next year will produce some serious ballaz...

Unfortunately, I remember him.... and I also remember him being a defensive end, not a linebacker. Either way he couldn't play, at all.
Mayock is a blithering idiot Gerhart is not a top 5 running back. The guy finished 2nd in the closest heisman voting ever. Thats all you need to know when talking about Mayock. He does not know talent if it hit him in the face.
Kumerow was a DE they planned on moving to LB. That lasted about 2 days of training camp when they realized he couldn't play LB and they moved him back to DE exclusively.
Such a terrible pick. I remember watching the draft that day (hoping we'd draft Craig Hayward who was still on the board) and when they picked Kumerow, ESPN didn't even have any clips of him making any plays--they showed one clip of him rushing the passer but getting there after the QB already threw the ball.
One of our all-time worst first rounders. I remember the same WTF feeling when we drafted Eddie Moore with our top pick. Neither guy was listed in the to 10 at their position in the pre-draft stuff I had seen.

It's actually pretty funny. The majority of Heisman trophy winners did little to nothing in the NFL. Once in a while there is an exception, but it's exactly that...an exception. I'd stear clear of Heisman winners.
Phinsphan Gerhart will be the next John Riggans if the Dolphins drafted him we would have the best running game in the leauge. Toby will be the best pro to come out of the entire draft mark my words.
